It’s never a good sign when a man quotes Jordan Peterson. You know it’s not going to end well.
I write from the apex of the pyramid. I am seen. To be honest, I am far more visible than I would prefer to be. I am heard, although many of those ears are hostile.
And one of the reasons is that I do not derive my sense of self, my sense of worth, my purpose, or my self-confidence from women.
Think of it as a Zen koan. To be seen by women, you must stop seeing them. To be heard by women, you must stop listening to them. And to be respected by women, you must stop making them the embodiment of all you’re chasing.
The truth is that all that hoping and reverencing and desperately prancing about accomplishes is to render you a despicable clown. Because if you can’t find value in yourself, no woman is going to do so either.
