After all, we’ve been at war for about 90% of our existence. That’s what we do. Waste money and prematurely end the lives of those who have barely started living. Ignore the home front, and the welfare of the citizens. Harry Patch, last surviving soldier of WWI, defined it as well as anyone ever has, when he said, “War is organized murder and nothing else.”
