Faith Seeking Understanding - by bionic mosquito

 Call it faith seeking understanding.

I would like to develop my thoughts on this a bit further. Perhaps this post might end up in the hands of my friend. I want to begin with the grounding in the early Church, in the first centuries after Christ – in those who knew Greek, who lived in the same culture as did the apostles, who learned from the apostles and those who learned from these (as my text above makes clear)....

....Conclusion

Why “faith seeking understanding”? God gave us this Church; it is the Church passed down to Christians. Whether or not the various denominations recite the Creed, they all fundamentally believe about Christ what has been handed down in the Creed.

I am accepting the God that the Church handed down to me; my friend is not. Either my friend is or I am worshipping a false God. I don’t know how to say this in kind terms.

One of us will have to answer the question: why were you worshipping a god other than Me, the true God? If it is asked of me, my answer is simple: I am worshipping the God handed down through the Church. This is the Church that God preserved. He did not preserve an Arian Church.

My friend will have a more difficult time if he is asked this question. What will he say? “I disagree with what the Church has always believed”? “I could not understand the idea of one God in three Persons, so I didn’t believe it”?

My faith is seeking understanding – as those of you who have been with me on this journey recognize. My friend seems to have a desire for his understanding to seek faith. He is searching for a God that makes sense to him, one that he can comprehend.

I think God is much bigger than what my mind (or my friend’s mind) can hold.

Epilogue

Now, because I write the above, does this mean I am beholden to all Church councils, called everywhere at any time? Regular readers know the answer to this is “no.” I am not going to get into why or when, as I have done this all in the blog. But I offer it for completeness, in case it is read by my friend.

But this first one especially, given the character of the men and the persecutions they were willing to suffer when Christianity was illegal, seems pretty close to unimpeachable to me.

The Damned Live in Fear - Vox Popoli

Tucker Carlson places his faith in the right place:

American journalist Tucker Carlson has told RT that he is not afraid of being killed for using his platform to say what he believes is true.....

https://voxday.net/2026/08/14/the-damned-live-in-fear/

...“This Iran war, the war with Russia – these are the things that will destroy the US, and I live here and my family’s been here for 350 years, and… I don’t want to see my country destroyed,” he said.

Let the monsters live in fear. They know they’re damned, so they have to make the most of this life because it’s all they’ve got. For the Christian, death is just the beginning of life.

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

A lot of people quite rightly have questions about Tucker and his CIA links. He has almost certainly served as a gatekeeper of sorts in the past. And perhaps he still does, although his recent interviews tend to argue against that. But I don’t think one can reasonably doubt his commitments to either Jesus Christ or America.

Remove Chaplains? The US Navy is in Crisis and Pete Hegseth Does Not Give Damn - (Go ahead and tell me DaUS doesn't serve Satan! - CL)

I also heard from the mother of a sailor who served on the USS Tripoli. She wrote:

I believe I told you I’ve been worried about the mental health of these sailors & marines aboard the navy ships at war. Why? Because they removed all chaplains off my sons ship, the USS TRIPOLI. They kicked them off in Diego Garcia, right before their last leg of trip to entering CENTCOM. This pisses me off. I called so many politicians and raised those alarm bells about their removals. I asked how many other chaplains were removed on other ships??? Again nobody would call me back or email me these answers. And here we are, sailors trying to commit suicide at war. Good GOD, Hegseth NEEDS TO BE FIRED! I guarantee you many military families aren’t aware that their loved ones chaplains were removed before going to war. This is a critical asset to have a chaplain while at war!!! They see so many gruesome things (casualties, kids and friends blown up) that is hard for any human to deal with. This infuriates me!!! Who the hell can get this message to blast on all news, Hegseth had NO business in removing those chaplains. Politicians need to demand his firing and immediately place chaplains back on every navy ship, especially at war.

This crisis is real and Donald Trump and his lame Secretary of War are doing nothing to address the problem.

The Value (to me) of Church History - by bionic mosquito

 https://achristianhall.substack.com/p/the-value-to-me-of-church-history?utm_source=post-email-title&publication_id=2189155&post_id=210141642&utm_campaign=email-post-title&isFreemail=true&r=y7h5a&triedRedirect=true&utm_medium=email

Yet, the Church is still here.

And I take this as an encouragement.

(By “Church,” I hope you know that I mean what is described as the Invisible Church.)

It means that the Church survives corrupt leaders; it means that the Church survives difficult times, harsh punishments, unjust laws – even when the Church turns on itself; it means that Christ always wins, even through the worst trials and tribulations.

This is the lens through which I read Church history; this is one of the values for me in studying Church history. We suffer through corrupt leaders and difficult times (inside and outside of the Church), harsh punishments, and unjust laws.

Yet, as we have seen throughout 2,000 years of Church history, these have never eliminated the Church – more accurately, God has never abandoned His Church.

Some look at this history and wonder: what kinds of so-called “Christians” were these? I look at the history and am in increasing wonder as to the awesome power and love of the God that we worship! He has preserved His Church for me, and He has preserved me to the point of finding it.

A Brief History Of The Kingdoms Of Israel And Judah – Biblicism Institute

And just like during their ancestors’ 40-year wilderness wandering, God was not about to lead the unbelieving Hebrews into the promised land of the New Covenant. They all had to die so He could start anew.

God Hates Sin - by bionic mosquito - My Christian Journey

 https://achristianhall.substack.com/p/god-hates-sin?utm_source=post-email-title&publication_id=2189155&post_id=209256900&utm_campaign=email-post-title&isFreemail=true&r=y7h5a&triedRedirect=true&utm_medium=email

Many point to the episode of driving out the money-changers from the temple as some sort of sign of continuity. But this really is nothing.

The scene is John the Baptist at the Jordan, baptizing all who come to him and confess their sins.

Matthew 3: 7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

Wrath to come? This is the New Testament, and John is about to introduce to the world the Good Samaritan, the “love your enemies” guy. And he introduces Him with these words:

10 And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

He is speaking of the Son of God, Jesus Christ – cutting down and burning unfruitful trees.

12 His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

Just as God did at the time of the flood.

And we learn more about this Son in the book of Revelation….

The 2000 Year War Between Judaism & Christianity, Told Through TONS of Old Books

One of the biggest tricks played on Western society is the idea of "Judeo-Christian values." This duped Christians into thinking their ancient enemy is their ally - but these books prove otherwise.

https://catodezorra.substack.com/p/the-2000-year-war-between-judaism

In this video, I tackle one of the most controversial subjects affecting Western society today, not to mention one of the most urgent - confronting the political, social, and economic takeover of Western nations, particularly the United States, by Israel-aligned interests and Jewish-controlled interests.

But while there are a lot of people “waking up” to all this and complaining about present-day political events, very few people realize that this is not a new phenomenon - not even remotely.

In fact, there has been a civilization-level conflict going on between Western Christian society and Jewish revolutionary activity for almost two thousand years. And though its been documented by both sides for many centuries, the Western Christian side lost touch with all that history, while the Jewish side has absolutely not.

This will be a mind-blowing claim to most people, even those who perceive themselves to be well-informed or as having a strong grasp on Western history, and it has angered many people (mainly Christian Zionists) in the past. But this dynamic only exists because of centuries of highly successful narrative warfare - in particular, by rewriting history about major historical events - and concentrating control of media, academia, and the establishment press to present only the Zionist perspective to the last four generations.

To support my claim, I explain the framework I’ve developed for organizing a large body of what is normally blacklisted as “antisemitic” historical literature that spans multiple centuries (and is remarkably consistent across them. The goal isn’t simply to discuss individual books or authors, but to provide a roadmap that helps viewers understand how different periods of history relate to one another and support my theory of this “2000 Year War” explaining where Western Christian civilization finds itself today.

One major theme I have identified in this “narrative warfare” that will make better sense of this to viewers is the stark difference between pre- and post-World War II scholarship. So here I explain how the historical record changed radically after the war, how only Jew-centric and Israel-friendly narratives became dominant, and how that shift influenced the kinds of questions researchers feel comfortable asking today.

I also break down all of this scholarship into FOUR distinct phases of history to help wrap your minds around the evolution of this moral, cultural, and even spiritual war:

  • The Post-War Era (1946 - current)

  • The World Wars and the Inter-War Period (1914 - 1945)

  • The Rise of International Jewish Power (1791 - 1913)

  • The Renaissance and Jewish Crackdown in Europe (late 1400s to late 1700s)

I reference a wide range of books, political writings, religious texts, and historical works that have shaped my own research over the past several years, this video also serves as a kind of guided reading list. But rather than reviewing every source individually (which I will do in later videos for subscribers - please consider joining!), here I explain why I believe it’s valuable to understand the historical context in which they were written, and how they fit into a broader overall agenda.

Whether you agree with my conclusions or not, my hope is that, at a minimum, this discussion encourages viewers to think critically about counter-narrative sources that get hidden and suppressed, and explore history from multiple perspectives. This is some of the most important intellectual and academic work that can be done by thinking people in the West at this time.

Finally, I want to sincerely thank everyone who supports this work through your subscription. Your support makes it possible for me to devote the time required to read difficult historical material, travel for my projects, and continue producing independent research and long-form analysis. I’m deeply grateful for your trust and encouragement, and I hope that in return resources like this serve you well!

How did the West Forget it's Been at War with Judaism for 2,000 Years?

I call it the 2000 Year War, a moral/cultural/spiritual war between Judaism and Christianity that goes back to the days of Christ. The problem? Christians forgot the war was on, but Jews didn't.
