Memo to Mentors – Dec. 24, 2018 – Christmas Reflections from History – (Do we worship Christ as Lord or DaState? – CL)

Today I posted 4 articles which complement each other, but also combine to seriously challenge us as Christians in our priorities and actions which reflect our faith. (You can read the full text of them by just scrolling down from here or link from the titles.)

Every US president since then really believes that the United States is unique in history and fated to remake the entire world in its own image. History is over, American triumph over the whole world is ensured. And since that globalist vision is inevitable, flawless, perfect and virtuous, it follows that every bombing campaign, every war, every imposition of economic sanctions, the toppling of every government and the destruction of every society that dares to disagree is divinely approved.

How Soldiers with Newly Attuned Consciences Almost Stopped the Great War……
And the generals and the politicians back home were appalled at the unexpected Christ-like behavior of the front-soldiers.

So this morning, without a lot of my commentary I want to pass on several items that I think will place what just happened into some context and perhaps give you ample background to begin to understand what President Trump did.  And, hopefully will offer perspective on why the near totality of the Foreign Policy Establishment, and the political Deep State elites in Washington—All Democrats and most Republicans in Congress (and on Fox News)—are beside themselves, upset, angry that our president is fulfilling his promise regarding Syria, and even calling for a “military coup against the president” [why, I ask, aren’t such pundits being arrested for proposing treason?].

The last by Paul Craig Roberts is an excellent summary of What Now? The Greatest Gift For All - PaulCraigRoberts.org
All Americans have a huge stake in Christianity. Whether or not we are individually believers in Christ, we are beneficiaries of the moral doctrine that has curbed power and protected the weak.
Power is the horse ridden by evil. In the 20th century the horse was ridden hard, and the 21st century shows an increase in pace. Millions of people were exterminated in the 20th century by National Socialists in Germany and by Soviet and Chinese communists simply because they were members of a race or class that had been demonized by intellectuals and political authority. In the beginning years of the 21st century, hundreds of thousands of Muslims in seven countries have been murdered and millions displaced in order to extend Washington’s hegemony.

It should be abundantly clear to anyone reading this site that our greatest enemy is not Russia, China or DaMuslims – it is the DeepStateCabal in Washington DC which is hell bent to reverse what we Deplorables voted for in 2016. As Paul Craig Roberts wrote All Americans have a huge stake in Christianity. You cannot have a self-governing nation without it. We are now experiencing the fruits of Christian apathy, misdirected leadership and the inability to discern between good and evil.

Christianity does not need majority opinions – after all, Jesus appointed 12 – the rest is history.

That’s the way I see it – with Christ all things are possible!
Merry Christmas to all!
