Every time I watch the movie mentioned and linked in this post from DaLimbraw Library a couple of years ago - https://crushlimbraw.blogspot.com/2021/12/remembering-christmas-truce-of-1914.html?m=0 - I lose my emotional control - cry like a baby. If you watch it, you'll know why.
Hint: Ordinary soldiers in opposing trenches almost stopped WW1 - of course, they were overruled by their superiors - FACT! That included church bishops........And get the whole movie and watch it - after seeing the You-tube excerpt linked within the above post.
