There are multiple layers of answers to these questions. To start with the last one first, no, the guys at the top are just situational Alphas. Harvey Weinstein, Jeff Bezos, and Ben Shapiro may all be at the top of their respective occupations, but their bizarre behaviors and suboptimal women clearly demonstrate that they don’t have a single Alpha bone in any of their bodies.
And, in fact, none of them were legitimately successful. Their success was manufactured and literally handed to them; which is the case for the vast majority of the men in every occupation these days. The current system in the USA and the Western countries over which it has influence has a hierarchy that is structured around obedience, submissiveness, and blackmail and specifically requires weakness in order to be entrusted with any attention, success, influence, or power.....
.....I am very, very far from alone in this regard. So much so that it is now hard to fail to notice that those who are at the top in every field are an astonishing collection of mediocrities, never-weres, and never-will-bes. The reason they all have Imposter Syndrome is because they are all quite literally imposters playing a part as a successful individual.
So, it’s not exactly a mystery why our current reality doesn’t reflect the model that has been observed over the centuries, because our current reality is an artificial inversion of the natural pattern. Which, of course, is why nothing works any more and why Western civilization is collapsing before our eyes. We don’t need a new model, we simply need to reject the new model that was surreptitiously substituted for the old one.
