Unaccountability Isn’t Just for Women - by Vox Day - A male celebrity is arguing for legal unaccountability

(And it continues because we - who ASSume ourselves to be sane - allow the insane to continue - while we justify our tolerance for their insanity to rule our culture......that's INSANITY! - CL)

This is, of course, absolutely insane. We’ve already seen how the same sort of system is wildly abused by immigrants, even criminal immigrants, who claim that they can’t be remigrated to their countries of origin for fear of their lives.

This may be the best argument for the death penalty yet, because a government that is afraid to execute criminals is observably transformed within decades into a government that is afraid to hold them accountable for their crimes in any way.

We’ve already seen how women are wrongly allowed to make criminal allegations without identifying themselves, and are not punished for making false allegations. And, of course, we’ve also seen how the very race and ethnic heritage of suspects and convicted criminals alike are now actively hidden both in the media and the police reports.

To expand this concept to the actual identity of the suspect being charged would be insane, and pave the way for secret courts secretly arresting and trying people without anyone knowing anything about the process.

That way lies madness, and it underlines why everyone needs to be at least able to be held publicly accountable for their words and deeds at all times. Being someone who has been held publicly accountable by the media and numerous corporations for words I haven’t spoken and opinions I have never held, I can attest that being held accountable for things you’ve actually said and done would be a significant improvement on the current situation.

And anyhow, as any Agatha Christie reader knows, a revolver with a single bullet left in the room with the accused has long been deemed a satisfactory solution, not a problem to be avoided.
