James Edwards: You have dedicated a great deal of your work to offering a sociobiological critique of radical feminism and the so-called sexual revolution of the 1960s, which you have argued is a utopian experiment that clashes with reality and leads to chaos. Why is this a topic that people should be more focused on?

Roger Devlin: Nations and races, like individuals, must perpetuate themselves sexually. But men are more inclined to focus on politics than on families, which they view as women’s natural concern. This works as long as women are in fact upholding the family by insisting on marriage and being faithful to their own vows. When they forsake that role to indulge in frivolous divorce and the chasing of sexual excitement for its own sake, men have no choice but to step in and restore order. This is difficult for us, both because most men do not understand women very well and because we have an extremely strong natural bias in their favor.

Edwards: Today’s society suffers from a lack of morals, confused sexual roles, high divorce and celibacy rates, childlessness, and widespread unhappiness, which you contend is linked to the breakdown of monogamy. In what ways are monogamy, family, and sexual discipline essential for societal stability?

Devlin: European man is a K-selected organism, to use the evolutionary terminology. This means that he is not very fertile, but invests heavily in the offspring he does have. A family with a father in residence is the necessary setting for such investment, which includes the transmission of a complex civilizational patrimony. Devlin: Where men are in charge, women have babies; where women are in charge, they fornicate and abort — as we have learned by putting women in charge for a few decades. The solution should be obvious: put men back in charge of the family! Women may be left free to choose a husband, but only subject to two constraints: 1) that the man not already have been chosen by another woman, and 2) that they stick to their choice for life — and not just until they get bored or imagine they could do better on a second try (seldom true in any case).

My Most Controversial Opinions and Millennials - Rev Matt

 I want to have a bit of a discussion about some of my most controversial opinions and how they are received by different generations, particularly millennials and boomers. I think there are some important insights in this discussion.

My most controversial opinions, according to the responses I get, are, ironically, things that pretty much every previous generation of Christians agreed on, at least before the middle of the 19th century:

• Men should provide.

• Men should lead the home.

• Women should keep the home.

• All who believe in Jesus are true Israel.

• There is no rapture.

• Psychology is more harmful than good.

I find that many millennial men and women see the first three as personal attacks, or even attacks on their mental health and the mental health of others. They immediately frame the views as unfair, mean, or harmful. Millennials have been trained to see traditional biblical standards as causes of low self-esteem, sometimes severe mental breakdown, or other socials ills. Pick the issue, you will find millennials who will respond this way. I have identified a few here, but the same will be true of gender issues, and a host of political issues.

The last three issues usually upset boomers. This generation, generally speaking, hears those positions as at least severely errant teaching, although some see them as basically apostasy. If you maintain these positions with determination and unapologetically, as every pastor should, they really can fly off the handle about it. Some boomers even see issues 4 and 5 as pillars around which the church should base its teaching and practice. Especially if Israel happens to currently be at war, which just happens to be a lot of the time.

The last point is usually seen as equally insulting to both most millennials and many boomers. Millennials were raised to see soul health as the sole providence of psychology (used collectively including all its diverse branches; counselling, psychology, psychiatry, psychoanalysis, etc.). Many millennials see people who are sceptical of psychology as people who are in need of deep therapy themselves, and often as unsafe persons, or simply as people out of touch with modern developments. They have placed psychology, in its various forms, as an authority in their lives, and one that people should submit to. I even know of people who refuse to engage with their own extended family over minor issues, because those family members have refused to go to therapy. These millennials see this as a reason to remove these people from their lives. Boomers were the generation that taught them that, though you will probably find more boomers who are still sceptical of the profession.

 Be Cringy, Be Like The Cringiest Man I Have Ever Known

There was a boss I once had who was just so good at evoking cringes in the people around him. He was so commanding. He was in charge. He had entered into the post-communist milieu of Central Europe, and he had built a Christian institution where nothing like it had existed. This was an important second career, after he had shown significant accomplishment in another field. Thousands were affected by his life.

I was an innocent missionary just out of college, well-indoctrinated about the world, daily having that horrible indoctrination ripped painfully out of me.

That boss of mine who I used to just feel so uncomfortable around is one who I have come to see as a role model, as someone who I wish to be like. He did not care if he made you cringe. He did not care one bit. He cared about making you think. He cared about motivating you to excellence.

The goal is not to offend. That, however, is one of the goals of the freakish, rapey, transgressive agenda that is so common in our groomer era from many of the political elite given a voice in the media. The goal is not to offend. The goal is to keep so ardently to the truth, that you do not care if you offend.

That first boss of mine said many “offensive” things.

And you never knew what was going to come next. It was impossible to know. His is the kind of life that legends are made from. There are few things that would be told to me about him, where I could say, “He would never do that.”

I would like to encourage you to be that guy, but I do not know how many of us have the ability to be that guy.

I don’t know how many of us are able to lovingly have a ministry of offense, in which we have no shame about telling the truth in a way that the other can listen to it and retain it. I don’t know how many of us care enough. I don’t know how many of us will disregard the cultural and societal punishment that inevitably follows that kind of person.

And I do not suggest that the purpose of such a ministry is to offend. But you must understand that in our era when you do not care about offending, when you do not onboard the shame that the cultural wants you to bear, that you inevitably offend some.

There are some who read Psalms 119:165 as a prohibition against allowing yourself to get offended: “Great peace have they which love they law: and nothing shall offend them.”

What a refreshing reading of that verse that is.

The combination of grid fragility and battery maturity has forced me to change my course and build my own system to bypass fossil fuels and an eroding domestic power grid.

The Battery Breakthrough That Makes Solar Viable

The real game-changer is battery technology. For decades, off-grid solar meant maintaining flooded lead-acid batteries that needed distilled water and offered barely 500 cycles. Now, lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries deliver thousands of cycles, tolerate high temperatures, and are rack-mountable in standard server cabinets. The Preppers Total Grid Failure Handbook notes that AGM batteries were already a step up from flooded cells, priced at $450 for 415 amp-hours, but they still had limitations . There’s More to the Gospel than 'Just Preach the Gospel' - The American Vision

 “Just preach the gospel.” How many times have you heard pastors and critics of social and political action scold Christians concerned about the moral direction the world is headed? The gospel is more than a life insurance program or a “Get Out of Hell Free” card. It is to transform everything we think about and act on. There is no neutrality, nor are any areas off-limits to the application of God’s Word.

The gospel renews a life for service in God’s kingdom — an ever-present reality — via a changed heart and changed mind (Rom. 12:1-2). What are we to do with these two renewals? Wait to be taken to heaven in something called a “rapture,” live in the world God created and called “good” (Gen. 1:31; 1 Tim. 4:1-4) and allow the enemies of God to exercise dominion over it, claim that since Jesus didn’t get involved in politics that Christians should follow His example, or learn how the Bible applies to every area of life and make it our life’s work to transform every part of it.....

....It is true that the law does not save anyone, nor does keeping a list of commandments make us holy, but this does not mean that God’s law is irrelevant. Paul writes the following to Timothy:

But we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted (1 Tim. 1:8-11).

Note how the law and the gospel are not mutually exclusive because the proper use of the law is determined by the law and is “according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which [Paul] had been entrusted.”

Like God’s creation, the Law is good. God’s commandments are good. Jesus said to His disciples, “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments” (John 14:15). John writes, “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome” (1 John 5:3). R. J. Rushdoony writes:

Lawless Christianity is a contradiction in terms: it is anti-Christian. The purpose of grace is not to set aside the law but to fulfill the law and to enable man to keep the law. If the law was so serious in the sight of God that it would require the death of Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, to make atonement for man’s sin, it seems strange for God then to proceed to abandon the law! The goal of the law is not lawlessness, nor the purpose of grace a lawless contempt of grace.[3]

Without an appreciation of God’s law, there is no way to combat lawlessness and the redefinition of everything from abortion to same-sex sexuality. Many of today’s churches have accepted homosexuality as a legitimate lifestyle choice and twist the Scriptures to justify their position. And why not? Christians have been taught that God’s law (just some of it) is either (1) just for the church or (2) grace supplants biblical law. It’s a double whammy, making the Christian message irrelevant this side of heaven.

And that’s the problem. It didn’t used to be this way. Every area of life was seen as a place to apply God’s Word, even among those who did not embrace Jesus as Lord and Savior. The world worked the way it did because God made it that way. As a result, Western Civilization flourished. In time, however, many people came to believe that the impersonal cosmos was good enough to develop a moral worldview. Of course, natural law advocates used their understanding of Special Revelation to read Nature, otherwise “Nature, red in tooth and claw,” would have been the outcome.

Darwinism killed any lasting vestige of a link between nature and God. God was not needed in an unwound clockwork universe. Apparently, a blind watchmaker was in charge. That would be like having Stevie Wonder or Ray Charles drive a taxi. The Christian response was to reformulate theologically. A sacred-secular divide was developed, coupled with an eschatology that made this time and world irrelevant, anticipating a rapture at any moment to relieve them of the task and responsibility of cultural change.

“We’re learning new details, for example, on clinical trials that are underway at these facilities, and that are raising significant ethical, financial, and security concerns regarding the supposed public health initiatives and US national security. Gabbard previously said her office was working with NIH Director Dr. Jay Bhattacharya and HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to investigate whether the United States funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology that caused the COVID-19 pandemic. In April, former Anthony Fauci advisor David Morens, who oversaw gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses in Wuhan, was indicted on charges of conspiracy against the United States; destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in federal investigations; concealment, removal, or mutilation of records; and aiding and abetting.

The Resurrection of Privilege Under Law – Paul Craig Roberts

 As my long-time readers know, I have emphasized for decades that in the United States race and gender privileges later extended to sexual perverts have replaced equality under the law ever since Alfred Blumrosen, a federal bureaucrat who was compliance chief for the EEOC, established a quota regime for university admissions, employment, and promotion 60 years ago.  This was not merely an attack on white heterosexual males.  It was also an attack on equality under law, on a merit-based society and on the traditional roles of men and women in society.  No other decision has had more adverse effect on American Society.

The statutory language of the 1964 Civil Rights Act explicitly prohibits any race and gender quotas.  However, Blumrosen reasoned that the federal judiciary in keeping with its tradition of deferring to regulatory agencies’ interpretations of laws would overlook his rewrite of the law should anyone have standing to challenge his ruling.  Thanks to Alfred Blumrosen, white heterosexual American males have been second-class citizens without equal rights and equal protection of law for six decades.  Yet they are alleged to have “white privilege.”

Among the US liberal-left, university and media crowd, “white privilege” is not merely an article of faith but also a proven undeniable fact, thereby turning lies into facts, something that we now take for granted as we do when Trump’s lies are treated as facts. This is another cost of Blumrosen.

In his article in the Unz Review, “Exposing Black Privilege: A Cursory Outline of Racial Prostration in American Life,” Richard Parker writes that there is no “white privilege” to examine and turns instead to innumerable examples of black privilege.  I have written for years about these multiplying privileges and how they are being institutionalized in law, practice, consciousness, and society, resulting in a two-tiered legal system in which white heterosexual males are grouped together in the bottom tier.......
