What happens when the culture formers are malformed by the culture itself? - CL

Jesus Christ gives a clearly worded instruction to His church - The Great Commission
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” – Matt. 28:16-20

There is nothing subtle about that instruction. He spent over 3 years with those men – we can read about it in the 4 Gospels – and yet we still do not seem to get the message because we are not DOING what was instructed.

What happens then?

Today I posted several excellent current examples of who is and who is not following instructions:

Dr. Jerry P. Kulah, Dean of Gbarnga School of Theology, United Methodist University in Liberia admonishes his fellow Methodists on their responsibilities – with comments by Vox Day.

Vox Day further reports and comments on the event in question.

Randolph Parrish writes a devastating report on the American Black churches as compared to their African brothers.

Have you ever asked – is the American church a serious Christian undertaking - as it now functions? For that matter - judging by our Government/Religion/Politics/Culture - are we even a serious country anymore? Is there a connection and what are – and will be – the consequences for all concerned?
What a bold and admirable man of God! God will bless those African churches for their faithfulness and bless their nations through them. Those enlightened liberal American churches will die, for they have forsaken Jesus Christ in the name of sin and worldly approval. – Vox Day
