Corinthians 15: 12Now
if Christ is preached, that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among
you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13But if there is no
resurrection of the dead, not even Christ has been raised; 14and if Christ has
not been raised, then our preaching is vain, your faith also is vain.
15Moreover we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we testified
against God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead
are not raised. 16For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been
raised; 17and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are
still in your sins. 18Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have
perished. 19If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men
most to be pitied.
Christianity
is Explanation – not Analgesics! - The
church is certainly to help people to live, but to live in the shadow of
mortality. She must set this earthly realm in the greater context of eternity.
She is to prepare people through her preaching, her liturgy, her psalmody, and
her sacraments to realize that death is, yes, a terrible, terrifying reality we
must all some day face, but that the suffering of this world—or indeed, this
passing superficial prosperity many of us enjoy—are but light and momentary
ephemera compared to the eternal weight of glory that is to come.

is NO Western Civilization!
The
Kingdom of God, Western Civilization and the Impact of Christendom in History –
Does it matter? - The reasons one should support Christian nationalism and Western
civilization aka Christendom is not limited to a personal belief in Jesus
Christ as Man's savior. On the political side, even if you lack religious
faith, a mere preference for indoor plumbing will suffice.

The resurrection of Jesus is
at the heart of the grandest of grand narratives of the west. It is
both the history of the west and the tradition of the west; there is no such
thing as western civilization without the resurrection specifically and
Christianity generally as the foundational part of the story.
