We thought we could have honesty and integrity and good government without having to confess the name of Christ. In all of this, secularism has been the foundational lie. We have been unwilling to bring our Christian faith to bear on public affairs in any direct manner. And because of this, we are now dwelling in clown world.
And this
points to the institution that carries the largest weight in this
fall. It isn’t
even that we have been unwilling to bring our faith to bear, it is that many
churches are on the side of the lying team – from gender confusion to
Scofield’s dream for supporting the chosen people.
To the contrary, we don’t need a fresh, objective, historical secular perspective. That’s the very outdated sort of thinking that has placed humanity in its current peril. We need to return to the old moral language, and specifically, the historical Christian perspective upon which Western civilization was built and by which humanity advanced intellectually, morally, and technologically to heights it had never seen before.
All
ideology is deception. Whether it is an ideology of the Right, such as free
trade, free speech, libertarianism, Objectivism, or conservatism, or an
ideology of the Left, such as socialism, communism, feminism, anti-racialism,
or social justice, it is a deception and a distraction from the true and
ancient conflict.
Christian conservatives are going to discover that they will soon have to choose between their professed love for Jesus Christ and their professed love for the Pharisees……….
And
remember, John of Patmos warned Christians that they would be subject to a
deception that would be considered widely credible. So,
ask yourself, what is the greatest deception to which Christians today are
currently subject?
