Responsible Statecraft reported that Israel is paying a cohort of 14-18 social media influencers an estimated $7,000 per posted article through a firm called Bridges Partners for defending Israel’s war crimes and demonizing alleged “anti-semites” for reporting them. I suspect that Stanford University’s Victor Davis Hanson might be one of these paid influencers.
This suspicion entered my mind when I read in The Daily Signal Hanson’s denial that a tiny country like Israel could possibly influence the US government–despite Netanyahu’s visits to the White House every two months, Netanyahu’s repeated visits to address joint sessions of the US Congress where he receives standing ovations for his genocidal policy in Gaza and for his reaffirmation of the Zionist policy of Greater Israel, despite the confidence with which Netanyahu’s Minister of Security declared Israel ‘Will Not Allow’ Trump to Make a Peace Deal With Iran because Israel is “moving to bury not only the supposed ceasefire in Lebanon but also talks on Iran” because Israel’s Security Minister declares Israel’s policy “is an endless and wide regional war” for Greater Israel. https://www.commondreams.org/news/ben-gvir-iran-ceasefire
Victor Davis Hanson, apparently a well paid agent of the Israel Lobby, ignores all of this information and proceeds to equate Hamas’ breakout into Israel through the “impenetrable barrier” with Israel’s genocide of Palestine.
The pathetic Hanson thinks that the 1200 Israeli victims, which some Israelis themselves say were the victims of Israeli attacks on Hamas in order to prevent the Israelis from becoming hostages used in negotiations, are equivalent to the tens or hundreds of thousands of Palestinian civilians killed in Israel’s ongoing attacks on Palestine despite Trump’s supposed “cease fire,” another Israeli-American hoax.
A number of Israeli security officials have said publicly that Hamas could not have penetrated the barrier unless orders were given by Israel to stand down the security system. These Israeli statements raises the question whether the Hamas attack was orchestrated in order to provide Israel a justification for the genocide of Palestine.
But Hanson, whether paid or simply indoctrinated or stupid, doesn’t care about any facts. He is just like Trump, the Republican Party, the conservatives, the Democrats, the liberals, the left, the Western presstitutes. No one cares about the facts.
