Clown World is Buying Time - Vox Popoli - "Never accept foreign rulers!"

 READ - https://biblehub.com/deuteronomy/17-15.htm

You shall in fact appoint a king over you whom the LORD your God chooses. One from among your countrymen you shall appoint as king over yourselves; you may not put a foreigner over yourselves, anyone who is not your countryman.

The absolute lack of concern for the lives of the Ukrainian soldiery on the part of the Kiev regime would be shocking, if the reason for it wasn’t so obvious. Never accept foreign rulers, because they really, truly, don’t give even a fragment of a damn about the people, much less the national interest.

Gratitude, Natural Medicine and the Art of Memorization

 Story at a Glance:

•Academic success is primarily based on one’s ability to memorize material. Unfortunately, the educational system rarely teaches students how to do that.

•Effective learning requires actively rather than passively engaging with the required material and being conscious of what is going on inside your body and mind so that you can determine which approaches are correct for you.

•Many of the same factors that determine overall health and neurological health (e.g., a healthy sleep cycle and adequate circulation throughout the body) also directly influence your capacity to study and memorize.

•This article will review some of the key points we’ve found are the most critical for effective memorization

Man sacrifices his health in order to make money.
Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health.
And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present;
the result being that he does not live in the present or the future;
he lives as if he is never going to die,
and then dies having never really lived.

30 years ago - Karl Denninger predicted when the financial SHTF.....2025 - WE'RE HERE! Fasten seatbelts!

Today we have unfortunately crossed a line in such fantasies that I predicted would occur in the 1990s while running MCSNet if we did not back away from our foolishness.  With a nearly 18% increase in federal spending over last year in the current month's MTS (October) and a $284 billion deficit for that single month we are now seeing said spending go vertical driven by the areas I talk about all the time and yet the hollering from all sides is to do more of it rather than address cost which in fact can and must be slashed dramatically -- by 80% relative to GDP -- and it must happen now as our continued refusal to address the issue had allowed the exponential curve, on the evidence, to go nearly vertical.  CMS, which is Medicare and Medicaid, had spending expand at a stunning 34.6% from last year in this month with Supplementary Trust Fund expenditures (physicians) skyrocketing up +59%, hospital spending similarly exploding higher by 53%, and Part D drug spending going prompt critical at an astounding rate of 402% (more than three times higher) compared with the same month last year, totaling nearly $38 billion in the month of October alone which annualized is nearly half a trillion dollars.  The only "restraint" was found in Medicaid block grants which advanced 4.97% (and that, I remind you, is wildly higher than the claimed rate of inflation.)

I would dismiss these figures to some degree being October (that is, the Administration simply deferred paying people in the last days of September to make the deficit look smaller, a common tactic by the way) except that the Medicaid spend did not equally skyrocket.

In the late 1990s, while running MCSNet and being extraordinarily alarmed at the trend that was evident even then, as I've repeated on an unbroken basis since, I pegged when the detonation would become evident, given the trend and simple mathematical extrapolation: 2025.

Well, here we are and here it is.

China’s rebound in societal trust, by Hua Bin - The Unz Review

Let’s switch gear and talk about trust in China.

Trust is the glue that holds society together. It binds communities, shapes institutions, and fuels economic activities.

The biggest collateral damage of the 10-year turmoil known as the Cultural Revolution has been the loss of trust for individuals and institutions alike.

People have bemoaned it and, having spent early childhood during those years, I thought trust might never come back again.

In the Three Body sci-fi novel by Liu Cixin, the main character, Ye Wenjie, an astrophysicist, lost so much trust and faith in humanity that she voluntarily sent out earth’s coordinates to the “three-body civilization”, inviting an alien invasion to reform humanity.

She lost her father to the mindless struggles against intellectuals during Cultural Revolution. She herself was also repeatedly betrayed by the people around her from family to co-workers caught in the fever.

A worldly reader of my essays, who visited China in the past and is visiting again, wrote in the comment section of one of my recent essays, “what amazes me about China’s transformation is the high trust society it has developed and how genuinely helpful everyone is”.

This struck a chord as I recently read a survey, which put China among the world’s highest trust societies, along with the Nordic nations, long famous for their social cohesion.

In my view, this is a development that has far greater and long-lasting societal impact than short-term economic growth or technological progress.

After all, in a high trust society, people’s default assumption is that strangers, institutions, and even competitors will act honestly, competently and without malice.

This produces a cascade of economic, social and psychological pay-offs hard to replicate any other way – lower transactional costs, cheaper credit, higher innovation velocity, and healthier, happier life.

Put simply, high generalized trust is the only public good that simultaneously makes markets larger, governments cheaper, people healthier and life more pleasant.

Trust cannot be bought, only accumulated through consistent, observable reciprocity over time.....

The only lesson we seem to learn from history? We don't learn from history!

Britain, France, and Germany have never understood Russia, and their policies towards Russia have always been bloody-minded, murderous, and stupid. Consider that the rationale for the Crimean War (1853-56) was to reduce Russia’s growing influence within a region that had long been controlled by the Ottoman Empire. In other words, the geniuses in London preferred the weak rule of Ottoman slave traders in the Black Sea to that of the Christian Czar Nicholas I.

In 1812, Napoleon’s advisor, Armand-Augustin-Louis de Caulaincourt, as well as his ex-wife Josephine (whose counsel he had usually valued) begged him not to invade Russia, but he refused to listen to them.

Because of his obstinate pride, he failed to recognize the obvious trap that Russian commander General Mikhail Kutuzov set for him—namely, that of strategic retreat deep into Russia with winter setting in, thereby overextending the French supply lines and letting the Russian winter do most of the grim work on French soldiers.

After declaring war on Russia in August 1914, Germany and Austro-Hungary established the Eastern Front in the Austrian territorial possession of Galicia, which is now part of western Ukraine. In June 1916, the Russian Army launched the Brusilov offensive, inflicting approximately one million casualties on the German and Austrian armies. I suspect that few if any members of the E.U. Parliament even know about the Brusilov offensive.

In 1941, intoxicated by his easy victory in France, Hitler decided to launch Operation Barbarossa, thereby committing the German Army to the same misery the French had suffered in 1812. German Chief of Staff, Franz Halder, strongly advised him against it, but the “Little Corporal from Austria” refused to listen to him.

Now we come to Ursula von der Leyen’s Nov. 25, 2025 speech before the EU Parliament in Strasbourg, which may be the most nonsensical address ever uttered in the history of Europe.

Trump's disastrous cabinet picks - a lesson in DO NOT EXPECT YOUR ENEMIES to carry out your will! ( BTW - Neocon=MIGA - CL)

This time, by golly, Trump was finally going to step up and end a conflict nearly a year after he promised to end it in 24 hours.

And then Rubio walked in.

The one lesson Trump 2.0 did not learn from Trump 1.0 is that the personnel is the policy, particularly with a president who appears uninterested in details and disengaged from complex processes. Trump 1.0 was dragged down by neocon albatrosses John Bolton and Mike Pompeo, among others.

Even a Col. Douglas Macgregor brought in in the 4th quarter at the two minute warning to throw a “Hail Mary” pass to get us out of Afghanistan was tackled behind the line of scrimmage by Robert O’Brien, Trump’s final National Security Advisor and neocon dead-ender.

Neocons are wreckers. That’s the one thing they are good at.

The inclusion of new blood in the person of Vice President Vance ally, Army Secretary Dan Driscoll – who supplanted terminally clueless Trump envoy Keith Kellogg – offered the promise that finally the realist faction in the shadows of the Trump Administration would have their shot.

Then the rug was pulled. Again.

They Were Not Good for the Economy - Vox Popoli - (REALITY IS A BITCH! - CL)

I’ve pointed out that no matter how relentlessly the Clown Worlders pontificate about the importance of the false values and repeat their rhetorical mantras, eventually reality is going to impose itself. And today, Great Britain has officially returned to the economic dark ages of the 1970s due to the way in which free trade and immigration have, much to the surprise of all the mainstream economists, resulted in the exact opposite of economic prosperity:

https://voxday.net/2025/11/27/they-were-not-good-for-the-economy/

All those refugees being handed hotel accommodation, monthly stipends, and free smartphones have to be paid for somehow, after all. To say nothing of the three generations of immigrants who still haven’t even begun to break even with regards to their net contributions to the British economy.

It does seem that the composition of migration has become less favourable from an economic perspective, with fewer people getting skilled worker visas and a higher share of refugees, who often need a lot of support.’

Translation: as bad as the negative economic impact of migration is already, it’s only going to get worse as employable foreigners avoid the shrinking destination economies while the unemployable continue to flood in.

When a nation breaks with the wisdom of its past traditions, it begins to die. The fact that it doesn’t die immediately seems to confuse a lot of educated and credentialed retards into believing that their new assumptions are viable when the truth is that there is a significant amount of inertia in a society that takes time to peter out before the full effects of the new course become apparent to everyone.
