One primary criterion for deciding what to post, besides it being topical, is whether it advances our knowledge base and understanding of the issues involved. I look for insights especially!
The factoid today from the Pew Survey which reports that only 1 in 4 American can distinguish fact from opinion (often fiction) leads perfectly into the others.
