Villains of Judea: Emanuel Celler – The Occidental Observer

Celler had promised the same. Speaking on the floor before the vote, he predicted the law would barely register: “There will not be, comparatively, many Asians or Africans entering this country,” he told the chamber, adding that immigrants from Asia and Africa “will have to compete and qualify in order to get in, quantitatively and qualitatively, which, itself will hold the numbers down.” He was wrong. The House passed the bill 318 to 25. The foreign-born population climbed from 9.6 million to 45 million across the next half century, and Pew Research Center counted nearly 59 million arrivals between 1965 and 2015, with the white share of the population falling from 84 percent to 62 percent. The irony cuts deeper. Family preference, the engine of that growth, entered the bill at the insistence of restrictionists who assumed it would keep the country European and who dramatically underestimated how few people it took to create an extensive network of relatives eligible to follow.

Beyond his efforts to fundamentally alter America’s demographic landscape, Celler aggressively targeted the very Second Amendment rights that had been safely and peacefully exercised by Americans for generations. That same year, Celler steered what became the Gun Control Act of 1968 through the House as H.R. 17735. The law was the most sweeping federal firearms legislation since the National Firearms Act of 1934, banning mail-order sales of rifles and shotguns, prohibiting interstate firearms transfers to private individuals, barring felons, fugitives, drug users, and requiring federal licensing for all firearms dealers. It passed as a standalone measure on October 22, 1968.

The same seniority that let Celler reshape the republic let him bottle up what he disliked. For more than 30 years he refused to allow the Equal Rights Amendment out of his committee, declining to hold a single hearing on it despite its introduction in every session of Congress since 1923. When Representative Martha Griffiths and Shirley Chisholm pressed to make it a legislative priority in 1970, Celler opposed their discharge petition from the floor, declaring that “ever since Adam gave up his rib to make a woman, throughout the ages we have learned that physical, emotional, psychological and social differences exist and dare not be disregarded,” and warning that the ERA was “a blunderbuss amendment” that “would erase existing protective female legislation with the most disastrous consequences.”

His resistance reflected his strong ties to organized labor, which opposed the ERA throughout this period on the grounds that it would invalidate state laws providing special workplace protections for women. The discharge petition passed anyway. He lost that battle when Congress sent the ERA to the states in March 1972, and it cost him everything else.

That June, a 31-year-old attorney named Elizabeth Holtzman challenged him in the Democratic primary and beat him—ending 50 years of uninterrupted service and making him the most senior member ever to lose a primary. He had not campaigned seriously in decades and was traveling in Europe when Holtzman launched her effort. Months later the Judiciary Committee he had chaired for a generation opened the Watergate impeachment hearings under Peter Rodino. Celler watched from television studios, dispensing commentary on proceedings he would have run.

For the congressman who reshaped an entire nation’s demographic destiny, watching from a television studio was a strange comedown.

Celler spent his long tenure systematically dismantling the traditional barriers of the gentile establishment, creating a political infrastructure designed to elevate Jewish influence. Paradoxically, this transformation proved so successful that it empowered a younger, more aggressive wing of the tribe to seize the levers of power for themselves. Ultimately, he was discarded by one of his own—a classic case of Jewish fratricide where the architect was consumed by the very dynamic he had spent his life engineering.

He died on January 15, 1981, at 92.

The legacy of Emanuel Celler is written in the landscape of a vanishing America. What he promised would be a minor adjustment was, in truth, an act of demographic warfare that has turned our cities into a modern Tower of Babel. By stripping the founding stock of their legal, social, and cultural defenses, he ensured that future generations would be strangers in their own land, reduced to cattle within a system that prizes the interests of their Jewish exploiters over the survival of their own people.

Remembering General James Johnston Pettigrew: A Life Cut Far Too Short - Boyd Cathey

 But Pettigrew’s career as an author and social critic was abruptly cut short by war.

For Southerners, certainly for men such as Johnston Pettigrew, the impending conflict with the Northern states would not be a “civil war,” that is, it would not be a war between two aggrieved parties within the American nation. Rather, it would be a war between two ideas of government, and, in reality, between two ideas of history and the very nature of the American nation. For the North, which now controlled the Federal government, the conflict would be to suppress what was seen as a rebellion against constituted national authority and an impediment to the triumph of industrial capitalism. For the states of the Southern Confederacy, it would be a defense of their inherited rights under the old Constitution of 1787, rights which had never been ceded to the Federal government, as well as of their conception of society, which the late Richard Weaver termed a combination of “communitarian individualism” and eighteenth-century aristocratic values. Pettigrew had noticed the widening division as early as 1851: “The political aspect of our unfortunate Country gives also the greatest concern. Precipices around us on all sides, and amid the universal decline of principle among the politicians, it is difficult to say whether there be more danger in resistance or submission.” [Pettigrew to his brother William, January 3, 1851; Pettigrew Papers, University of North Carolina, Southern Historical Collection, Chapel Hill, North Carolina; quoted by Wilson, p. 110]

In the antebellum federal Union the largely agricultural, plantation-based South had acted as a kind of counterweight to the North and its developing capitalist vision of history. Certainly, there were notable Southerners who shared the growing economic and political liberalism of their fellow citizens north of the Mason-Dixon Line (e.g., DeBow’s Review). Yet, increasingly in the late antebellum period, voices like that of Pettigrew echoed a kind of vision somewhat reminiscent of the serious critiques being made in Europe by counter-revolutionaries who stoutly opposed the advances of liberalism.

 When Putin took office as President, one of his first initiatives was to de-privatize 90% of Russian industries which had been sold off to oligarchs and foreign investors.

The Oligarchs were not happy, of course.

Putin’s message to them was simple, you can stay and prosper—If you perform and it benefits the public good. Otherwise, not.

That kind of meritocratic vision did not appeal to some, who moved to the West, Bill Browder among them.

The economy prospered. Russia grew. People were happy despite the Second Chechen War, and then the Georgian War, and Ukraine and sanctions.

But many of Russia’s problems - -such as entrenched bureaucracies, corruption and an “old boy system” emphasizing nepotism, cronyism and patronage —issues going back to the Czars, were hard to fix. Russia was now committed to capitalism just as China was, but, as with China, only to the extent that it worked, and delivered what it promised. There are many capitalisms. The the “bottom line” as not the same as in the West where it was the plus column on investors’ spreadsheets: it was something hard to calculate with Excel — the public good, realizing the promise of the future.

Putin grew up in communal housing, on the streets. He was ultimately proletarian. He advanced through sheer merit and moral conviction rather than ideology. So it is not surprising that he should be pragmatic — and therefore meritocratic.

Someone is extremely defensive over the repudiation of what is essentially his life’s work. This is nothing more than a desperate attempt to salvage credibility. In accordance with the extremely tetchy tenor of his responses, Kagan again reverts to knee-jerk defensiveness… It’s clear he realizes how bad he looks in hindsight and can’t help but adopt an almost whiny tone in attempting to rewrite his key role in America’s geopolitical depletion.

I’ve read Kagan’s books, and he’s been methodically retreating from the idea that America’s military can impose satanic imperialism on the world for nearly 20 years now, despite his previous advocacy of it. The jungle, as he calls it, has proven to be significantly more resistant to the order he wishes to impose out of the chaos that he, his wife, and the other neocons have been causing for at least the last 40 years.

Since he was reelected for his second term, he has revealed himself to be—without a doubt—what you might call the “Oligarchian Candidate” or the “Epstein Class Candidate.” The fact that the Democrats challenged him with the raving imbecile Kamala Harris should be regarded as strong circumstantial evidence that they are in on the act.

Kamala played a key role in the “race to the bottom” drama that led us to believe that Donald Trump was our only hope. Now that he is in office for his second term, we are facing major wars on multiple fronts, a doubling of the federal money sent to the military-industrial complex, accelerating national debt, unqualified support for the Great Lords of Tech who are rolling out AI with reckless abandon, and still no removal of the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines from the market.

Anthony Fauci’s entire mission during the pandemic was to serve as the midwife of bringing mRNA technology into use on a global scale. This was the entire point of Operation Warp Speed in all of its wild extravagance.

Until President Trump publicly revises his assessment of Warp Speed and declares that it was the work of an organized crime syndicate (of which Fauci was the public face), there is no way his administration could even consider bringing Fauci to justice.

This is the way things are, not how they should be, and until people recognize this, they will remain confused about how the US government actually works.

Last year, the UK took part in a war simulation in Estonia involving more than 16,000 troops from 12 Nato countries but were ‘destroyed’ by Ukrainian troops in a ‘horrible’ defeat.

The embarrassing loss came only months before Ukraine’s former commander-in-chief warned that it will take more than a decade for Nato to catch up to half of Russia’s military capabilities. Valerii Zaluzhny, considered to be one of the most trusted public figures in Ukraine, has said Nato was still behaving as if future conflicts would be similar to the Second World War.

Kyiv’s ambassador to Britain reportedly said: ‘Most likely, Nato will remain in the same form as it is, and will spend 12 years, like Ukraine, transitioning to standards that need to be achieved in order to reach at least half of the level of the Russian Federation.’ The former general added that Ukrainian forces were superior to armies in Nato, who were still working to ‘doctrines’ set up in the 1940s, according to The Times.

It’s not possible. The Western fake democracies have degenerated under six decades of liberalism, feminism, and immigration, so their capacity to even make the necessary decisions to begin catching up is nonexistent.

It’s not an exaggeration to contemplate the possibility that 5GW marks the effective end of the West’s centuries of dominance.

 Both the grilling of Fauci, and the response to Trumpenstein’s China speech reveal once again the futility of our Uniparty system. What exactly is the difference between claiming that Russia! Russia! Russia! was behind everything, which is what the Democrats have done ever since Trump became president in 2016, and China! China! China!, which is the new rallying cry of Republicucks? The allegations are the same, but the foreign hobgoblin changes, depending on which “competing” party is making them. As always, there is an attempt to deflect attention away from those who lead this country. The ones who do nothing about the potholes. The disparity of wealth. The absence of real job opportunities. The wasteful, bloated government that taxes with an iron hand, but provides no services in return. The ones who always vote for war, and austerity, and hate “conspiracy theories.” Like magicians, they distract. Look over there- at China! Pay no attention to what’s behind the curtain in Washington, D.C.

At this point, the only strategy left for Trump and his remaining cult members is to point the finger elsewhere. “Sure, I’m in the Epstein Files, and I’ve broken all my promises, driving away every real America First supporter, but what about Chiiina!” The Chinese may be a totalitarian technocracy, but their government at least prioritizes its own people. They have a clean and orderly society, with top notch infrastructure. How does that compare with our American Shithole? They don’t waste their resources intervening militarily in other countries. They certainly don’t seem beholden to Israel. And in the other corner, you have the “Woke” Democrats, sworn to uphold anti-Whiteism and transgenderism at all costs, who point at Russia, and call Trump “Putin’s bitch.” This would be the same Vladimir Putin who is rebuilding churches and is concerned enough about the plunging birthrate to pay Russians to have babies. Pretty scary, eh kids?, as SCTV’s Count Floyd used to say.

The other focus recently for the MAGA stragglers who are hanging around, perhaps hoping in vain for an invitation to the first soiree in Trump’s new big, beautiful ballroom, is “communism.” This would be the same communism which sprang from the Bolshevik Revolution over a century ago. All the leading capitalists of the day were enthusiastic supporters of Bolshevism. Which is a decidedly strange thing, considering that the “Russian” revolutionaries were sworn to destroy capitalism. They were led by the likes of Trotsky, whose real name, shockingly enough, was Lev Bronstein. There wasn’t a whole lot of “Russian” in that Russian Revolution. Think about his first term… So if you’re playing this properly, mind you, you don’t want to be seen as winning. Nonono. Winning gets you scrutiny.

A first term is for laying charges you won’t detonate for another eight years, and for that you want policies where the damage is structural but the headlines point at something else entirely.

Something as conspicuous as soybeans, you know?

In 2018 he tariffed China over IP theft, which is a completely real grievance that everybody agrees about, and Beijing does the obvious thing and retaliates on the one export that maps perfectly onto your own voters.

Exports to China drop 77%. Of the $27 billion in lost agricultural exports through to the end of 2019, soybeans were 71% of it, and you hand out $23 billion of taxpayer money to farmers to make up the difference.

Argentina and Brazil filled the gap. US farmers got a permanent hit to their exports.

The Netherlands also tried something with chips (the electronic kind, not the fried ones), but retreated real fast. I guess there’s something in the water over there......

So on his second term he wanted to bring manufacturing back. “Let’s tariff the world”. Not on what they actually send to the US of course. That’d be too obvious. No, it was simply what the US sends to that country divided by the imports from that country. Someone mastered Excel. You buy little from US relative to what we buy from you? That’s how you end up alienating your best trading partners. Completely unintentional, I’m sure......

Because how else can you destroy the Deep State SO THOROUGHLY, so METICULOUSLY, so rigorously?

Your allies despise you behind closed doors.

Your complete Middle East “unsinkable aircraft carrier” ain’t sinking, it’s just being blown to bits instead.

Alliances SURVIVE policies, survive presidents. The DS is too ingrained.

The USD will endure because the US never defaulted (it’s true because Wikipedia says so).

Jobs will be coming back, any day now.

And Iran is just one bomb away from capitulating.
