We have gone far too long continuing the exponential expansion of this crap.  Our annual deficit has roughly doubled in the last decade from when I wrote Leverage and we are well past any claim that "Covid did it."  This is now entirely the consequence of displacement of both manufacturing and American labor generally as it has been since and even before NAFTA and it must all stop and be reversed right here, right now, with each and every person who has been "temporarily" admitted to the United States for this purpose expelled and all jobs offshored tariffed at 100% of the differential benefit in doing so to either (1) refill the Treasury or (2) force the jobs back here thus causing Americans to earn the wages and pay taxes on them.

If we do not do it, and do it starting right now, no-bull**** CIVIL WAR is extremely likely and once it begins it will be too late to make the decision or try to change said outcome; we must act on this today because it will take time for the economy to adjust and there has to be sufficient time and room for that to occur or the CIVIL WAR and MASS DEATH THEREFROM comes anyway.

How One Liberal White Girl Learned the Truth About Race, by Tracy Abel - The Unz Review

 This is part of our continuing series of accounts by readers of how they shed the illusions of liberalism and became race realists.

I grew up in a suburb of white, middle-class families. My schooling, from elementary school through college, was with people who were also overwhelmingly white and middle class. Like so many others, I was reared to think that “all men are created equal” and that people should be judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin. Since my ears could hear, I was taught blind faith in color blindness and the virtues of diversity.

My mother is in the medical field and my father worked for the New York City Transit Authority. Both are lifelong Democrats, working people who never had much time to study culture or politics. The only instruction they ever gave me in politics was that the Democratic Party was for the working people and the Republicans were for the rich. My mother taught me never to be judgmental, and to love everyone the same, especially those less fortunate than I. She told me discrimination was wrong and that all people should be treated equally.

I have a bachelor’s degree in sociology. Looking back, all my professors were white and very liberal. College was the first place I ever heard race discussed seriously, and the message was constant: diversity was vitally important and whites were guilty. My fellow students had been brought up just as I had been, so my professors had very fresh meat to feast on. I graduated from college the perfect racial liberal.

Like so many white, middle-class girls from the New York City suburbs, I therefore decided to serve the downtrodden. I knew I could never live well on my salary, but the satisfaction and moral superiority I would enjoy over friends in business would be worth the sacrifice. I would venture into the ghettos, much like an urban Jane Goodall, and protect noble souls from the evils of white privilege and arrogance. I genuinely believed I would be making amends for the terrible acts of my ancestors.

The first job I took as an adult was in the daycare center of a domestic violence shelter on Staten Island, New York. It was part of a network of organizations run by a large charity called Safe Horizon.

This was my first real encounter with blacks and Hispanics. My supervisors were black and Hispanic, the clients were black and Hispanic (I never saw a white woman come in), and I was one of the only white faces in the neighborhood. I felt as though I had to prove to these women and teach their children that white people were not their enemy. I thought that if I could make them see me as a good person and not as a “white person” I could help make the world a better place. I was convinced I had nothing to fear, and that my generosity would certainly be noticed and appreciated.

Just like medical mis-diagnoses come with profound consequences, so can the misconceptions of history, the wrong lessons learned from great events. World War II is remembered as the defining event of the 20th century. Concluded around midcentury, it more or less divided the century into pre-WWII and post-WWII periods, thematically as well as temporally.
Granted, the pre-WWII period more than witnessed its share of violence as it was defined by two great events, World War I(aka The Great War) and the Bolshevik Revolution(and the ensuing Russian Civil War). There was also a kind of a Cold War(or Hot Peace) during the seemingly normalizing interwar years, a return to growth and stability. But for all the optimism(mostly in the US of the Jazz Age era), there were seismic rumblings beneath the strained optimism and fragile stability.
Red Russia, emerging from a devastating Civil War, posed a challenge not only to the capitalist West but the entire colonialist world order as Leninism reinterpreted Marxism as an anti-imperialist creed. For a time, the capitalist ‘demoligarchies’(or democratic oligarchies) tolerated and even welcomed fascist and quasi-fascist movements as useful bulwarks against communism. Benito Mussolini had lurched from the left to a kind of modernist right that guaranteed security for the capitalist class while appealing to the masses with populist rhetoric and nationalist propaganda. Likewise, the West found feudalist-modernist Japan useful as a capitalist-imperialist counterweight against Russia and a partner-in-crime in the control over China.
But, tensions grew as Italy, Germany, and Japan, though of the pro-imperialist camp more-or-less united against the anti-imperialist Soviet communist camp, were perceived to have designs on the empires of the dominant Western powers, especially Britain and France. In Hitler’s case, he went out of his way to assure the British, the biggest empire-holders in the world, that his plans were mostly in the east(toward Russia) and posed no threat whatsoever to the Anglosphere. His overtures might have been acceptable, even welcome, but for one reason: Hitler’s anti-Jewish ideology that made it thorny for the Jewish-permeated Anglosphere to come to terms with National Socialist Germany. Thus, what might have been a ‘beautiful friendship’ disintegrated into bitter rivalry. Anglos went with the Jews against the Germans instead, and the Germans had no option but to make war on Britain that declared war on Germany. Ironically, unlike Jews who not-so-secretly resented and detested the Anglos(and wanted to see the Anglo World destroyed via cultural subversion and financial parasitism), Hitler and Germans genuinely wanted a mutually respectful relation with the Brits. (Well, Anglos chose the Jews and must now sleep in the bed they made.)

The Temperature Rises - Vox Popoli

 It’s not really visible yet, but some of the more credentialed people on both sides of the evolutionary debate are starting to take notice of Probability Zero and MITTENS. And, of course, the usual sort of suspects are, as always, focused on the irrelevant minutia, so I’m having to further refine the argument. Which, of course, only makes it even stronger and more conclusive than before.

Here’s the problem. Biologists are stupid and innumerate, so even when they do the hard work required, they neither analyze it nor report it in a coherent, relevant, and meaningful manner. As I pointed out in Appendix F of the first edition, the 1,600 per generation number was both a) wrong and b) garbage. The problem is that every number reported in the 2009 and 2017 papers are also irrelevant garbage. The 2009 numbers are particularly bad because many of the fixations counted were not actual fixations.

Never mind, of course, that the actual number is almost entirely irrelevant, because there isn’t a bacterial fixation number that will ever make the numbers work. But because I value precision and I am not a biologist, I’ve downloaded the data for all 60,000 generations of the 80,000 generations published – 40k more than Barrick utilized in the 2009 study – and had Athos crunch the data. I’ll put everything in the next MITTENS 3.0 paper, but here are the highlights:

In TrendCompass on Monday, I wrote about the sudden lust for war against Russia that’s gripped European ruling establishments like a fever, with a handful of notable superspreaders doing the rounds of TV panels and interviews as they try to convince the public that war is inevitable, that the people must step up and do their duty and enlist in the military to defend “our nations” and our way of life.

It all feels as though the decision that Europe will be going to war against Russia has already been made. As Mr. Pompous, Jacob Rees-Mogg put it:

“… If we face a war, we will need people who will join the armed services and who will go out and do their duty. We may even face circumstances where people have to die to save their country…”

One of the most enthusiastic war promoters, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson recently had this to say:

“There’s no reason, that I can see, why we shouldn’t send some peaceful ground forces to show our support, our constitutional support for free, independent Ukraine.”

Johnson’s wording itself is interesting: “peaceful ground forces,” and “constitutional support,” and it’s obvious from the video (linked above) that he was struggling to spit all those words out exactly right so that his plea for a peaceful war could sound perfectly honorable and dignified. He seemed especially scrupulous to put the words constitutional and support together.

All the while, the British media are doing their part, dutifully informing their fellow citizens that the Russians are coming:

...However, for some, the refusal came with consequences beyond lost income. One veteran, who turned down the offer and later criticized Ukraine for wasting US money on his channel, had people contacting his employer, calling him a Russian agent, and trying to get him fired.

Full disclosure: the only foreign interest that has ever offered any support for me was China’s English language television station. They offered me a show, which in retrospect I probably should have agreed to do. I turned it down, in part because UATV was starting to roll, but also because I didn’t want people trying to to dismiss me as some sort of Chinese shill.

As it turned out, they do that anyhow on the basis of me sharing my observations without any compensation. Of course, it’s a lot different openly doing a show on a network and secretly taking money to advertise someone else’s perspective.

The Demonization Of Arabs And Muslims – Biblicism Institute

 The vilification of Arabs and Muslims did not come about as a naturally occurring phenomenon. It was carefully planned and executed.

“Israel has been demonizing Muslims for 60 years and has created the image of Muslims as terrorists wearing suicide bombs,” revealed Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury.

LET THE DEMONIZATION BEGIN

To set the stage for their defamatory propaganda, Israel enlisted Jewish-dominated Hollywood to depict Arabs in a very unflattering light – something Tinseltown has since been doing faithfully for decades.

Arabs must be seen as the villains and the Jews as the good guys in order for Israel to tighten its grip on the stolen territories of Palestine and on those of Syria (Golan Heights) and Lebanon (Shebaa Farms and KfarShuba Heights), while its people commit crimes with impunity.

“The villain of choice today is the Arab. To be an Arab in America today is to be an object of contempt and ridicule by television under the guise of entertainment. To me this anti-Arab image on entertainment manifests itself in the politics of America,” wrote Professor Jack Shaheen.

All Wars Are Bankers’ Wars: Iran and the Bankers’ Endgame - (Proving that Iran is more Christian than DaChurchian West! - CL)

 The thesis that “All Wars Are Bankers’ Wars” was popularized by Michael Rivero in a 2013 documentary by that name. His accompanying article begins with a quote from Aristotle (384-322 BCE):

The most hated sort [of moneymaking], and with the greatest reason, is usury, which makes a gain out of money itself, and not from the natural use of it. For money was intended to be used in exchange, but not to increase at interest.

Rivero then traces how private banking interests have financed and profited from conflicts on both sides for centuries — from the founding of the Bank of England in 1694 to fund William III’s wars to modern regime-change wars....

Other commentators point to the report of the Project for the New American Century (PNAC) titled “Rebuilding America’s Defenses” (September 2000), which called for “full-spectrum” U.S. military forces to achieve global preeminence. It postulated the need for a “catastrophic and catalyzing event — like a new Pearl Harbor” to accelerate the military transformation the authors envisioned.

This was followed by a 2007 Democracy Now interview in which Gen. Wesley Clark revealed that weeks after 9/11, he had been shown a classified Pentagon memo outlining plans to “take out seven countries in five years”: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and finishing off with Iran. The first six have since been destabilized or regime-changed. Iran, considered the ultimate prize for Middle East dominance and oil control, remains the last one standing.

Why those seven, and why was Iran the ultimate prize? Greg Palast’s 2013 article titled “Larry Summers and the Secret ‘End-Game’ Memo” supplied the missing financial logic. In 1999, the world was opened to unregulated derivatives trading, so that sovereign bonds, oil flows, shipping routes, and war-risk policies could all be collateralized, rehypothecated (pledged multiple times over), and gambled upon. The lynchpin was the 1997 WTO Financial Services Agreement (the Fifth Protocol to GATS), which became operational in 1999.

None of the seven targeted countries joined the WTO, and they were also not members of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS). That left them outside the long regulatory arm of the central bankers’ central bank in Switzerland. Other countries that were later identified as “rogue states” were also not members of the BIS, including North Korea, Cuba, and Afghanistan.

As for Iran, it is not only the largest and strongest of the Islamic countries but operates the world’s only fully interest-free (riba-free) banking regime. This stands in direct contrast to the conventional Western model, which relies on interest as its primary revenue mechanism. “Money making money out of itself” underpins the global derivatives complex, which is built on rehypothecated, collateralized debt-at-interest.

The Migration is the Invasion - Vox Popoli

Bands armed with such weapons, in nations with unarmed populations, will rampage like rabid wolves among tame sheep. Local police and even militaries will be overwhelmed. These armed bands will be able to commandeer cars and buses at will for transportation. Who will stop them?

No doubt some countries will survive the militarization of the extant invasion better than others. And while some will divide on various grounds, others are winner-takes-all situations. Regardless, it’s quite likely the 5GW is something that the younger generations are going to experience in some way, shape, or form in the next 10 to 20 years.

Migration is war isn’t a metaphor, it’s a tautology.

The Ketogenic Diet and Cancer: Changing the Metabolic Terrain

 

Cancer as a Metabolic Disease

Cancer is not simply a collection of rapidly dividing cells. It is also a disease of profoundly altered cellular metabolism. One of the most reproducible metabolic features of malignancy is increased glucose uptake and glycolysis, known as the Warburg effect: many cancers consume glucose avidly and convert much of it to lactate, even when oxygen is plentiful (1,2). This is the same property that makes tumors light up on an FDG-PET scan, which uses a radiolabeled glucose analogue to locate metabolically active tissue.

This observation provides the rationale for using nutrition to modify the metabolic environment in which a tumor lives. It is worth being precise about what that means. The objective of a therapeutic ketogenic diet is not to “starve cancer” in any literal sense. Even when dietary carbohydrate falls to very low levels, the liver continues to manufacture glucose through gluconeogenesis, and blood glucose remains within the normal range (3). The real objective is to change the systemic metabolic terrain: to flatten glucose excursions, reduce insulin signaling, raise circulating ketones, and shift normal tissues toward greater reliance on fatty acids and ketone bodies (4,5).

Within a multi-axis metabolic approach, diet therefore serves as the foundation upon which other interventions are layered. Its central objectives are lowering systemic glucose, reducing insulin and IGF-1 signaling, activating AMPK, suppressing mTOR signaling, and imposing sustained metabolic stress on cells that depend heavily on glycolysis.

A necessary caveat. A sound biological rationale is not the same as proof of clinical benefit. Current human studies show that ketogenic diets reliably lower glucose and insulin and can usually produce nutritional ketosis. Whether these changes translate into longer progression-free or overall survival remains uncertain (6). The ketogenic diet is best understood as an adjunct to evidence-based cancer treatment, not a replacement for it.

Announcement: Andrew Anglin Archives, by Ron Unz - The Unz Review

 

Earlier this year, Andrew Anglin shut down his Daily Stormer blogsite, doing so after about 13 years of operation.

Here’s what I wrote soon afterward:

For more than a dozen years, Andrew Anglin’s Daily Stormer website had been the most popular Alt-Right publication anywhere on the Internet, probably having more readership than all the others combined.

This remarkable achievement came despite the absolutely unprecedented campaign of harassment, suppression, and deplatforming that he faced. His bitter enemies not only had him banned from virtually all standard Internet services but even arranged for the repeated confiscation of his website domains, something that previously would have seemed unimaginable.

Along the way, he also became one of the very first individuals ever banned from Twitter. After Elon Musk bought that company and proclaimed a new free speech policy, Anglin was briefly allowed back. But despite his careful avoidance of controversial topics, he was soon banned again.

All of this reasonably earned him the title of the world’s most censored writer. That was the moniker we provided him when he declared that anyone could freely republish his pieces and we began doing so, including well over 2,000 of his posts and articles during the last five years.

As might be expected, the enormous human and financial strain of maintaining a website under such very difficult conditions eventually became too much for him, and last month he finally abandoned that effort, publishing a post entitled “The End of the Daily Stormer.”

More than 2,000 of posts had already been republished on our own website, but that was still just a small fraction of the enormous quantity of content he had produced over the many years. But fortunately, one or more of his fans produced a backup file of all his material and posted it on the Internet, hoping that someone would make it available in more convenient form.

I’ve now had this done, and a rudimentary website providing all his many, many thousands of posts is now available.

Consider Anglin’s enormous role in the early Alt-Right movement of 2016 and the online energy those activists provided to the Donald Trump presidential campaign of that year. Given the very close results of that election, Anglin arguably played a significant role in changing the history of our country and the entire world, whether for good or for ill.

Indeed, the peak of Anglin’s public notoriety probably came the following year when his profile graced the cover of The Atlantic, a singular honor extended to just a tiny number of Americans over the course of the last one hundred years.

Therefore, I would think that resource might provide be very useful for political scientists and other academic researchers.
