A Heedless Aftermath | Kunstler

Former (as of yesterday) Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller returned to YouTube yesterday. He represents exactly how pissed off that better half of the nation is, the half that refuses to bend over for the Deep State, the half that is looking to run it down and call it to account for attempting to destroy the country six ways to Sunday.

For all the seeming power of the Deep State — a.k.a. the “Intel Community” — one really has to be impressed by its stupidity and desperation. It can’t keep secrets or cover its tracks. Anyone who was paying attention to the RussiaGate operation has seen the published evidence of all the lawless behavior it spawned and knows the names of all the players. Ditto, the effort to engineer the 2020 election and install an obviously senile puppet-stooge in the White House. And ditto the effort to manufacture the Covid-19 crisis by hijacking the public health apparatus of the federal government.

Yet, this Deep State rogue menace is stumbling badly now because it didn’t figure out the basic dynamic of the long emergency: that over-investments in complexity inexorably produce disorder and collapse. This includes the complexity of the Deep State itself, a sprawling enterprise choking on the immense stream of data it feeds on and the fumbling efforts of its all-too-human agents to weaponize all that. The question now is whether the Deep State will collapse — even perhaps get forcefully defeated by Americans who oppose it — before the entire country and all its support systems collapse.

Events are on the loose well beyond the Deep State’s control now. Its front man, “Joe Biden,” sealed his fate last week with the bungled exit from Afghanistan. Thirteen dead US soldiers may only be the preview of a Grand-Guignol to come as the victorious Islamic maniacs get to stage atrocities starring the thousands of Americans and other Westerners left behind. Why wouldn’t they? For decades, they’ve promised to defeat and humiliate their “infidel” enemies. Remember the video-recorded beheadings of Nicholas Berg, Daniel Pearl and many others? The roasting of the captured Syrian pilot in a steel cage?

There’s no need to even ask the rhetorical question: who planned and executed the buggered-up evacuation of Kabul? It is self-evident: the entire chain-of-command. This is finally galvanizing half the country not in thrall to the Deep State to move against it, and that’s what you’ll see in the weeks to come. They will get rid of this imposter “Joe Biden” — if the Deep State doesn’t try to do it first — and then they will “cancel” the Deep State’s attempt to manage any succession to the vacancy at the top.

Do you suppose that you will not be hearing any results of the Arizona election audit just because the endeavor went silent last week when three audit team members got sick with Covid? The process was not stopped or squashed. The report will show a gross and startling disparity between the results certified and the actual ballots counted. That will blow away the tatters of legitimacy “Joe Biden” has been wearing, revealing the larval, sightless creature hiding inside.

The CDC and its allied agencies have maxed-out on Americans willing to vax-up. The latest FDA switcheroo move to “approve” the not-yet-produced (or trialed) genetic therapy agent, “Comirnaty” was intended to fool the public into thinking that the current Pfizer-BioNTech “vaccine” was likewise approved. It is not approved. It is still being administered under the emergency use authorization. The quisling news media is lying about it. Anyway, the half of the country that declines to take a cocktail that fails to act as a true vaccine (i.e., preventing disease), and threatens to fatally attack the lining of their blood vessels… that large swathe of the public is good and goddam sick of being pushed around with mandates and threats.

We will not submit. We’re nearing the end of this medical reign of terror. The trouble is, the medical establishment won’t survive it. They’ve perverted and undermined what used to be called science — truth-driven inquiry into what’s real and what is not — and, anyway, the medical system had already poisoned itself with racketeering so outlandish and cruel that it makes the old Mafia look like a charity organization. Not only do Americans get a Covid virus whose development was funded and guided by America’s chief public health official, Tony Fauci, but if it puts them in the hospital, their doctors deny them treatment with efficacious medicines, and, if the patients happen to survive the ordeal, they’re hit up with million-dollar bills. This conduct exhibits a kind of sadism that goes beyond just adding insult to injury.

Half the country is also paying attention to the invasion of border-jumpers coming in from Mexico with the assistance of the Deep State. They’re also noticing “Joe Biden’s” failure to comply with the recent US Supreme Court decision that he must enforce the standing procedure to return “asylum-seekers” to Mexico to await any decision on their eligibility. Many of these migrants come from the farthest corners of the world, including places full of people who don’t like us or our country. How many of them are coming here to blow things up and shoot American citizens? Nobody knows. The Deep State doesn’t want to know and they don’t want you to find out.

Finally, there is the question of the financial system which, lately, has become the proxy for what used to be the productive US economy, its Potemkin false front. The various plans to spend about $8-trillion in non-existent money on more social experiments such as paying citizens to be idle, would have been enough to sink American money, the US dollar. Now that the world has witnessed the humiliating withdrawal of the US from our 20-year-long war in Afghanistan, the process will accelerate. The world sees that we can’t be depended on in any foreign crisis. They know we no longer produce things of value. What are we good for, exactly? Absurd ventures in gender confusion and race hustling? Drugs and pornography? Is that what stands behind the dollar?

It Takes a Village to Dupe the Public - by donald jeffries

(As you read this, keep in mind that most of the willfully ignorant named here are so because it pays well! - CL)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Each day now brings some new outrage, some authoritarian utterance from one of the petty tyrants that misrule us at every level of this crumbling society. Eugenicist and nonscientist Bill Gates humbly suggests maybe we ought to deny Social Security benefits to the Unvaccinated. The “journalists” on television smear the murdered Ashli Babbitt as a “terrorist,” and praise her formerly unidentified police officer killer as the real victim, and a genuine hero.

It’s impossible these days to tell an Onion headline from a CNN or New York Times headline. How could a show like SCTV exist now, with identity politics having destroyed comedy, and made satire impossible? So, we finally withdraw from Afghanistan, and everyone is shocked that our leaders managed it just as horribly as they managed the occupation, and our pointless foreign escapades in general. What is the inference behind all the justified criticism? Not that this is another proof of how bad our bipartisan, interventionist foreign policy is, but that we ought to jump right back in and straighten things out. And there is far more concern about the “vulnerable” Afghans, than for the hapless American citizens trapped there. Open those borders a little wider! We want more migrants, and we want them now! And don’t you worry about them having this deadly virus; just put that second mask on and get your booster shot.

As I look around me, I see stupidity everywhere. It’s easier to get angry when it’s dressed in oversized sweat pants, or pajamas in public, and adorned with lovely tattoos, nose rings, and multi-colored hair. I often shake my head and think, these are the people we have to rely on to overturn the tyranny, and address the corruption. Talking with them makes one even more depressed. What was once the sole province of the least educated citizens, the purveyors of Ebonics, is now widespread. The average young White girl today basically speaks a different strain of Ebonics, sprinkled with liberal “Oh, my Gods!” and a lilting emphasis on the last syllable of a particular word.

So bringing in an untold number of Afghanis, whom as I understand it have an average IQ of 85 or so, really won’t dumb things down that much more. We’ve already allowed countless Somalis- whose average IQ is even lower than that- to rise to positions of prominence in Minnesota. And given how submissive and clueless almost all Whites have been over the past few decades especially, it’s time to stop bragging about our IQs. Whatever the tests show, I am beginning to believe Whites are the dumbest race ever to walk the face of the earth. What other race of people have ever openly applauded their extinction, and engaged in nonstop self-hatred?

I guess I’m just cranky. My own family situation is not going to get better. Both my children and I are effectively banned from attending my niece’s wedding, because we are Unvaccinated. Well, we can go if we get the jab. Or can show a recent negative COVID test. “Show us your papers” before you take that slice of wedding cake. Kind of puts a damper on the festivities. We may never see that part of the family again. We’re not going to get vaccinated, and they- like most of America- aren’t going to wake up to this absurd psyop.

I may never see my sister again, either. She’s much older than me, and has been in poor health for quite a while. Her kids- who used to look up to me as a big brother- are in lockstep with the ridiculous “science” being promoted by corrupt bureaucrats like Anthony Fauci. They are going to follow orders just as assuredly as I will scoff at and disobey them. So we’re at an impasse. Blood is apparently not thicker than a Plandemic.

It has been seriously suggested that the Unvaccinated not be allowed to buy food. In other words, that they be starved. Well, FDR’s lackey Morgenthau wanted to starve the entire German population, and the court historians don’t seem to have a problem with that. Like Lincoln’s tyranny, let’s call it a precedent. Countless people are losing their jobs because they won’t submit to taking a vaccine that the CDC- not any “conspiracy theorist”- tells us has already killed far more people than all the other vaccines combined since 1901. And now it’s FDA approved! Rejoice, comrades! The same FDA that banned Laetrile- the kernel of an apricot- and approved the poisonous NutraSweet. But that’s “science” for you.

If you think things are bad now, just consider this. Some of those obese, tattooed monstrosities are reproducing, or will shortly be. And as Idiocracy and a study of history reminds us, the type seemingly less fit for breeding is always the most fertile. It’s the high earners, who are desperate for children and have the means to provide a comfortable life for them, that struggle to breed successfully. There is no rational answer for this very obvious fact of life, but any observer of the human scene knows it’s true. And, of course, poor Hispanics, Blacks, and Muslims all over the world, are joyfully reproducing. “Be fruitful and multiply,” they seem to be saying. It’s only those high IQ Whites who now often look at pregnancy as bad news, and fret over bringing children into this cold, cruel world.

So, looking at the future, we do definitely see Orwell’s “boot stamping on a human face forever.” But we also see a largely nonwhite, incredibly stupid and controllable population. If you think Lori Lightfoot, Rachel Levine, and Gretchen Whitmer are bad, look at some of Joe Biden’s court appointees. All of which, by the way, Donald Trump’s old friend Lindsay Graham has voted to approve. If you’ve wondered what it must have been like to have been a Black man accused of looking improperly at a White girl entering a 1920s courtroom in the deep south, think of what it will be like to be an unapologetic White man entering a courtroom in present-day America, which is being presided over by one of Biden’s overtly anti-White racist judges. Payback is a bitch, and all that.

As Barack Obama noted, very few of us “build” our success without any help. This was basically the subtext of my book Survival of the Richest; in fact, the original title I wanted to use was You Didn’t Build That. But the converse is true as well; very few of us build any failure without any help, either. Good luck or bad luck alone can tip the scales in a person’s life. The “village” Hillary Clinton spoke of is the horrific corporatocracy that has been constructed in America; a marriage of government and business, which is the definition of fascism. The schools, television, movies, music, politicians, and clueless parents all play their parts. In the 1800s, this “village” would normally produce fiercely independent, tough, and hard working individuals. Our modern “village” produces “victims” of various stripes. And victims can’t exist without predators. Bloodthirsty eugenicists; satanic, amoral creatures are our predators.

As Harry Truman’s Secretary of Defense James Forrestal told his good friend Sen. Joe McCarthy, before he was pushed out of a window at Bethesda Naval Hospital, if there wasn’t a grand conspiracy, once in a while they’d make a mistake in our favor. If life has no ultimate purpose, and we are all just random collections of genes, then at least occasionally someone would rise to prominence who wanted to help the little guy. Who wanted to end war. Who wanted to stop corruption. Who wanted to fight injustice. But, when some leader even hints at these things; think Huey Long, John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, and Robert F. Kennedy, for example- they are accorded what George Bernard Shaw called “the most extreme form of censorship.”

The corruption is so systemic that American society has practically ground to a sanity standstill. Try calling any company for anything at this point. You’re routed through pointless, annoying automated menus seemingly designed to get you to hang up in frustration. Then there is a routine extended wait because “we are experiencing heavy call volume at this time.” From my experience, they are always experiencing heavy call volume. By “they” I mean everyone. We are supposed to believe that all companies are overwhelmed with calls at all times. I work from home, but I can only imagine how impossible it is for anyone working a regular day shift to contact any business.

We have reached the apex of what Charles Dickens referred to, more than 150 years ago, by turning over all authority to “experts in how not to get it done.” I have some kind of problem with most purchases I make. The order was incorrect. The product doesn’t work. Well, I guess that’s what you get with slave labor. Ten cents an hour doesn’t exactly guarantee quality workmanship. When I’ve returned electronics that literally didn’t work at all, the stores in question often shrug and say, “what do you expect for $19.99?” Well, I expect any product being sold to at least work, regardless of the price. But that’s where we’re at, and what they want; lowered expectations. A lowered standard of living. The “new normal.”

Is there any honesty anywhere? Can we hold any public official, at any level, accountable for anything? The law has essentially become irrelevant to the One Percent. Whether it’s Hunter Biden’s laptop full of supposedly documented pedophilia, or the NFL’s DeShaun Watson’s twenty two different women accusing him of sexual abuse, people at that level cannot, and will not, be punished for even the most reprehensible behavior. Which, in their cases, means raping underage girls or sexually assaulting masseuses. You simply cannot continue the charade of a free country when anyone with great wealth is utterly outside the reach of your thoroughly corrupt system of “justice.”

“If there is hope, it lies in the Proles,” George Orwell wrote in 1984. You should all be reading or rereading 1984 right now- it’s really relevant. If there is hope for us, it lies in the parents. I’m talking about the angry parents we’re seeing more and more of, in my own neighboring Loudon County, Virginia, and elsewhere across the country, confronting their local school boards over the despicable curriculums and unconstitutional, unscientific mandates. One angry young woman addressed her board of supervisors by calling them “petty tyrants.” That is the reality we face; even at that low tier of the power structure, those with the power are indeed outrageous, arrogant tyrants.

But change can only realistically happen at that level. Our lordly federal “representatives” are well beyond our control. They are in effect royalty without crowns. But maybe, just maybe, we can start recalling those school board members, or pressuring them into resigning. Perhaps they can be replaced by some honest people, who should rightly fear the wrath of parents should they decide to continue Transgender Story Hour and Critical Race Theory.

It’s time to take the gloves off. Those who are still asleep after more than a year of mask wearing, social distancing, second waves, variants, and untested vaccines, are beyond help. Their indoctrination is so complete that it would probably be impossible to deprogram them, like they used to have to do with escaped Moonies. And we can’t underestimate the role human nature plays here. Those who have been fooled to such an embarrassing extent are never going to admit we were right. This psyop, and all others, are only possible because those pointing out the emperor is wearing no clothes can be successfully demonized in their eyes. They’ve taught the sheeple to hate “conspiracy theorists” as much as they’ve hated any of the foreign hobgoblins of the past.

A conspiracy in open sight isn’t possible with an informed public. If we’ve learned anything else by this point, it should be obvious that the majority of the American people are not informed. At all. They are instead misinformed. About everything. And, like many stupid individuals, they are collectively mistaken at the top of their lungs. They’re proud of their ignorance, which their masters have convinced them is wisdom. We are the stupid ones, believing in our dangerous “conspiracy theories.” Their self-confidence, as they regurgitate some nonsense they’ve heard on CNN, or in a Hollywood script, is astonishing. Facts don’t matter in Identity Politics. Everything is based on emotion, not reason.

If you have young children, confront your local school board. Start demanding that these hideous “public servants” be removed from their positions. Not only should they have no power to misuse, they should be banned from being within fifty yards of any school, like child sex abusers. Then let’s work up to the board of supervisors, then the mayors and the police chiefs. It may still be possible to take back control at those levels. Even the smallest local media outlets will be against any efforts like this, but we have to try. All other forms of resistance seem futile at this point, simply because we cannot get enough people to work together against our common enemy.

Overpaid, Insecure, And Unintelligent — This Is Who You Leave Your Kids With And Who Most Kids Will Therefore Emulate By Allan Stevo

There is a fascinating trend taking place among parents.

They are starting to realize in whose hands they are leaving their children.

Sure there have always been PTA meetings and parent teacher conferences. There have been open houses and days for parents to come in and volunteer at school. There have been sports leagues and field trips and volunteer activities for you to see a teacher in action and to see how they are at their job and as a person. But if there wasn’t genuine philosophical conflict, there was no way to truly feel them out.

2020 and 2021 made that possible.

Suddenly you found out that if you wanted your kid to breathe freely, you were evil. If you did not want your kid to be a science experiment, you were deserving of arrest and imprisonment — not a fit parent. If you wanted your kid to have face-to-face class, rather than staring at a screen for 80% of his waking day, then you were anti-social.

Yes, I know, plenty of readers of these pages had those realizations before 2020. But for the normies among us, 2020 was a real gift, and in a lot of ways.

It suddenly became obvious to parents in the days and weeks before a Zoom-based circulum became the norm, that doing classwork at the kitchen table with your kids didn’t take 6, 7, or 8 hours, but was more like 90 or 120 or maybe 150 minutes of effort. What were the teachers doing with all the rest of the time then?

Then Zoom-based classes started and you got to see what the teachers were doing with the extra time — not much of anything beneficial to your kid. Then your home became filled with the echoes of their vapid nonsense.

Then you began to learn a little more about how the school was run, and you began to ask questions you never even troubled yourself with. What do these people believe in? How much do they get paid? Who really runs this whole show? Where do they get off putting some of this crap into the curriculum?

You started asking a lot of questions, and before you knew it, you might not have just been asking the questions to your search engine. You might have been asking the questions to people at the school too — maybe a principal, maybe a superintendent, maybe a counselor, maybe a teacher, maybe an aide. And before you knew it, you were told not to be in the room during the Zoom-based classes. You were given attitude. You were told that this isn’t any concern of theirs. You were told how smart people came up with this plan, and that you needed to get in line. You were told to trust the professionals.

Well, the problem really is that you trusted the professionals at all, for any time, for a single second.

If your family ended up in a mess in 2020, that’s probably how you ended up there — by trusting professionals.

Trust is a thing earned and granted to a select few close to you. Trust is not a blanket sentiment given to thousands and millions of people. That’s not called trust. That’s called idiocy.

It is idiocy to see how overpaid, insecure, and unintelligent these people are and to back away from your parental responsibilities like you “trust” them. It’s negligence to see how overpaid, insecure, and unintelligent these people are and to let them have ANY access to your kids. It is hypocritical to see how overpaid, insecure, and unintelligent these people are and to give a single dime to support their efforts, let alone leave your pride and joy with them.

A property tax protest is the right response to the school system after what the months since the Ides of March 2020 have shown us. These people are overpaid, insecure, and unintelligent. If you don’t figure out how to stop paying your property taxes, you are inevitably supporting that.

But let us not stop there. Let us get into the topic of child sacrifice. Let us get into the topic of how virtuous they deem it to turn your child’s body, mind, and soul to rubbish.

Do not pretend they share your values.

Do not pretend they care for your children.

They care for your children enough to get you to leave them your children.

That’s how much they care for your children. What they are banking for is that you are stupid enough to keep leaving them with your children after all the police powers they granted themselves over the past year while you weren’t looking.

Keep leaving them with your children, and you will get a rude awakening one day soon.

That’s how much they care for your children. If they thought you’d never come asking about it they would do far worse to your children, but they know you can cause a lot of trouble for them if they do, or at least you used to be able to. 2020 and 2021 taught them a lesson — you don’t love your kids as much as you claim to, and you don’t have as much power and authority that you, and they, once thought you did, otherwise if you did, 2020 and 2021 wouldn’t have gone down the way it did.

Everyone sees how weak your hand is as a parent, with the possible exception of you.  Some parents think they are stronger than they really are in the school system. Sure, they can bend a school board to their will, maybe even get a superintendent fired, but “possession is nine-tenths of the law,” and you leave your kids for much of the day in the “possession” of some bad hombres.

I’m happy that parents are going to the school board to protest CRT. Marxism has no place in the classroom. I help these protests. I help train lion parents to fight. I go speak and rally awesome people to stand up. However, if you need to tell your school board to tell its teachers not to teach CRT, you’ve already lost.

The people who proposed the curriculum came up through the ranks of the people you leave your children with. They are the same. You can’t beat them with the school board. They are a bunch of hard-to-fire harpies trained in witchcraft and brainwashing. This is so accurate that you could even go so far as to dominate the school board and to get the school board to allow one book in the classroom — the Bible, whichever translation is your favorite — and you will still get Marxism stuffed into your child’s head.

They are overpaid, insecure, and unintelligent, and the greatest gift of 2020 and 2021 that you can give your child, no matter how painful it may be at first, is to keep your child far away from these people and to never look back at their temples of slow motion child sacrifice.

The second greatest gift you can give your child is a world in which their children will never know these slow motion temples of child sacrifice. Defund them. Stop paying taxes to them. Yes. I really mean that.

I once worked in a really good one.

They aren’t that good.

The people who work in them are overwhelmingly overpaid, insecure, and unintelligent.

The few who don’t fit that description, and who aren’t irreparably deformed by their time among the others, may help pave the way for what education looks like going forward, because unless child sacrifice at the hands of the overpaid, insecure, and unintelligent is your thing, the current model isn’t going to be what education looks like for long.

Queen Elizabeth introduced something akin to the idea of public education as we know it. It caught on very slowly. For the majority of the history of the United States, no such concept existed. Schooling was a matter for the home, the church, and the community. It was not what we have today. What we have today is a true aberration that will not long survive — at least not in the new America, not in the breakaway republic that will leave all this nonsense behind.

But you can’t single-handedly control that. What you can single-handedly control is what happens to your child.

Let your child wear the mask to class, and you will one day realize your child also received the Covid shot in class, that is, if your relationship with your child is even strong enough for that information to get to you. That’s the truth. Will you become a parent who writes me after returning from the hospital to learn that their child was vaccinated without their knowledge? Will you be looking for sympathy?

You know everything you need to know in order to prevent that day from coming. Read the laws and orders, you’re in denial if you don’t think 2021 is the year that thousands and maybe millions of American kids get the unsafe, ineffective, experimental Covid vaccine in schools without parental permission.

You must draw a line at the face mask. You must never let your child be masked. Really though, an even more bold line must be drawn. If you leave your child with sociopaths, not only is your child far more likely to end up a sociopath, your child is going to be sacrificed at the altar of those sociopaths. Regardless of their sociopathic crocodile tears that appear when they are caught in the act, the slow-motion sacrifice of your child’s body, mind, and soul for the greater good will bring a sociopathic “educator” all manner of joy.

Stop it. Value your child more. If your child is in a school where you have to fight CRT, face masks, and vaccines, your child is a sacrifice waiting to happen. Don’t let that happen. You know enough to stop it. It might not be easy. Who ever said parenting would be? But it’s going to be so much better than what that school can offer your child, no matter how good of a school it is.

Say no to the evil. All of the evil. Never wear a mask again. Don’t let anyone put the harmful and ineffective mask on your child. “Face Masks in One Lesson” (here) () exists to help you do that, as do these LewRockwell.com pieces (https://www.lewrockwell.com/author/allan-stevo/?ptype=article), and the email newsletter at RealStevo.com (https://realstevo.com/) full of quick, easy to watch videos on how to make that, and other bold steps, a reality in your own life.

Protocols of the Learned Elders of Wye - Vox Popoli (Are we Americans really all in this together - CL)

(It would be interesting to see how the average Conservative would respond to this report. Would they even understand it to begin with, and if so, would they claim "We're all Americans!" - CL)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I thought this 2006 article on Haaretz by Shmuel Rosner

concerning a conference discussing the survival of the Jewish people was intriguing, both for what it suggested in terms of what the future holds in store for America as well as what it implied about the Jewish perception of the transience of their relationship with America:

Two groups of Jews gathered together last weekend
at Wye Plantation, Maryland for a long discussion on the situation of
the Jewish people. The first group, which met Wednesday and Thursday,
consisted of the heads of 15 Jewish organizations such as the
Presidents’ Conference, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee
(AIPAC), the Anti-Defamation League, the Union of Orthodox Jewish
Congregations, the American Jewish Committee and others. In the second
group were the “thinkers,” as the organizers termed them: Natan
Sharansky from Israel, Charles Krauthammer from The Washington Post,
former Canadian justice minister Irwin Cotler, former Jewish Agency head
Sallai Meridor and many others….

The fear expressed that “a real decline of the West,
particularly the United States, would have dramatic consequences for the
Jewish people,” also led to controversy. Brandeis University president
Jehuda Reinharz agreed that this type of decline can be expected “in the
coming two decades” – but Stuart Eisenstadt was less emphatic about it.
He believes the United States will remain the leading power. In all
events, it was agreed the Jews “should strengthen cultural links with
non-Western civilizations, particularly China and also India,” powers
that are on the ascent. This is not a question of preference or
closeness; it is a question of survival, of readiness for the future.

I am very curious to know if there was any recognition that the observed decline of the West has any connection to a number of the policies that these organizations have supported for the last 50+ years? I also wonder why the targeted non-Western civilizations which are supposedly on the ascent, (raising some real questions about the participating economists given the ongoing Chinese meltdown), would be interested in stronger cultural links given the questionable consequences of those cultural links on the United States. The Indians might be amenable, but Chinese history suggests that the Han wouldn’t even blink before taking actions that would make Hitler look like a Righteous Gentile.

As an East Asian Studies major who is neither philo- nor antisemitic, I suggest the Elders of Wye might want to seriously rethink the potential of China as a safe landing place. Japan and Korea, too, are likely out.

The article tends to leave one with the unfortunate impression of rats congregating in order to contemplate the right time to leave a sinking ship. Or, to use a less ominous metaphor, magical golden geese who graciously convey manifold benefits and blessings on those with the courtesy to accept them discussing the right time to stop laying eggs and fly away before being greedily dissected. But regardless of whether one considers those discussing the timing of their exit as rats or golden geese. the mere fact that they are discussing the imminent sinking of the ship should be of no small concern to those who happen to be aboard it.

And before any philosemites feel led to cry holocaust, try to keep in mind that I didn’t forge the freaking article. If there is some non-pejorative way to view these discussions by a group of people actively making ready for an incipient American decline, by all means, feel free to share your interpretation. Regardless, it would be hard to deny that the conference participants do not see themselves as being a part of the American people.

How Google Bought National Review - Vox Popoli

(Will you send this to your Conservative friends or let them continue to remain in their Conservative delusion.

As a former Conservative, I began to see controlled opposition at least 10-15 years ago - yeah, another 'conspiracy' theory - but it only takes a minimum of discernment to recognize neutered opposition - they're not only fruitless, whatever they produce stinks to high heaven. All one needs to do to see it is open your freaking eyes!

It's those danged ingrained presuppositions - learned decades ago and assumed to be true - which just ain't so! - CL)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

One can’t really say that National Review was corrupted by Google’s money, because National Review was a neoclown psyop from the start. But as Emerald Robinson documents, Google became the primary policy influence over the conservative flagship organ starting sometime after Donald Trump was elected in 2016:

There were rumors in the summer of 2018 that an audiotape was circulating that would send shockwaves through the think tanks of Washington and the conservative intellectual movement in particular. A top Google executive had been recorded telling his fellow employees that Google generously donated to conservative think tanks and magazines to dampen criticism of their anti-conservative bias. In essence, Google was buying off Conservatism Inc. and the GOP establishment to stay silent while Google monitored, harassed, and excluded Trump supporters. If true, the tape sounded like a smoking gun: incontrovertible evidence of the corruption and double-dealing of Conservatism Inc. that would permanently discredit it with Republican voters.

I was told that the tape had been offered as an exclusive to the Wall Street Journal. Months went by, and nothing happened. (There were rumors during that time that Big Tech lobbyists were trying very hard to get the Wall Street Journal to kill the story.) Then I began to get a series of messages from various anonymous sources that the organizations that were guilty of taking Google money to stay silent included: the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI), the Cato Institute, CPAC, the Weekly Standard and the National Review. (A weak article appeared on September 27th by John McKinnon in the Wall Street Journal but it hardly mentioned the tape or its implications.) This was, needless to say, a huge story: was it possible that the entire conservative intellectual movement was being bought off by Big Tech companies?

Finally, I was approached by an insider at one of the think tanks who confirmed the main details. You could say I broke the story (since the Wall Street Journal piece had really buried it) on Twitter on October 30th, by saying:

BREAKING: Source tells me that NeverTrumper mags took cash from top Internet company to suppress stories of bias against conservatives & Trump supporters. Audio recording of top tech executive explaining strategy has leaked to major newspaper.

My hope was that it would shake the Wall Street Journal out of its lethargy: either publish the contents of the tape or let someone else use it. It would also sow panic among the guilty — who would want to get out ahead of the story in order to spin it. So it was not surprising that one of the first people to attack my story was Jonah Goldberg, one of the chief editors of the National Review. (It’s important to note that my tweet had not named his magazine as one of the guilty parties.) Goldberg was dismissive of my reporting on Twitter: “LOL. Love the idea you have sources.”

Jonah Goldberg had, once again, given himself up at the first sign of shooting….

Meanwhile the funding of the magazine now relies even more heavily on Big Tech money: the back page of the June 1, 2021 issue was a full-page Facebook ad. Inside the same issue, in case you missed the point, there was a two-page ad from Google. The National Review didn’t bother trying to win back its old subscribers by becoming more conservative. Instead, it flipped them a giant middle finger. This final insult might lead us to think the unthinkable about the soy boys who sank Buckley’s flagship. The same feeble metrosexuals who attacked the Covington Catholic boys, and printed pro-Jeffrey Epstein articles, and tried to discredit Carter Page, and pushed the Russia Hoax might not actually be conservatives after all. Their role does not seem to be halting the Left. Their role seems to be: pretending to be conservative in order to persuade actual conservatives to lose gracefully to the Left.

Conservatives must finally recognize something that’s very depressing and very important: the conservative intellectual movement in America didn’t just fail. It aided and abetted the Left for money. The Left bought off the Right’s leading conservative intellectuals. And its think tanks. And its “flagship” magazines. This is not hyperbole or conjecture. I’ve got the receipts. Until conservatives understand the depth and breadth of that betrayal, they won’t have any chance of rebuilding that movement out of the ashes any time soon.

How The National Review Sold Its Soul to Google, Emerald Robinson

Read the whole thing. It’s a fascinating demonstration of what treacherous little cuck-weasels Jonah Goldberg and David French are, which isn’t exactly a surprise. But it’s still useful to have conclusive evidence convicting them of what we’d already figured out.

Don’t EVER call yourself a conservative. A conservative, ironically enough, is nothing more than a beer-swilling surrender monkey whose primary objective is to avoid anyone calling him racist or anti-semitic. Conservatism is neither a political ideology nor a viable philosophy for any self-respecting man or woman of the West.

How The National Review Sold Its Soul to Google And Why Jonah Goldberg and David French Got Thrown Out - by Emerald Robinson

(It's important to note that my tweet had not named his magazine as one of the guilty parties.) Goldberg was dismissive of my reporting on Twitter: "LOL. Love the idea you have sources."

Jonah Goldberg had, once again, given himself up at the first sign of shooting.

On December 10th, Wired magazine ran a big piece describing the leaked Google audio tape and its significance:

The recording also offers candid insight into Google’s efforts to stop or water down two then-pending pieces of legislation, most notably a bill aimed at inhibiting sex trafficking that also removed some protections shielding internet companies from liability for the content on their platforms. “We've worked really hard behind the scenes for the last nine months to try to modify that bill, to slow it down,” said [Google Director of U.S. Policy] Kovacevich.

On December 13th, Allum Bokhari at Breitbart also ran a piece which did not mince words about what Google's money had paid for:

Audio recordings obtained by Wired reveal that Google cooperates with and funds a range of establishment conservatives in D.C. that help it fend off scrutiny and oversight from politicians. The organizations named in Wired’s report are the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI), and the Cato Institute. [...]

One of the Google-funded think tanks had its pro-Google op-ed published by National Review. Now the story had legs. It was running on multiple outlets, and it was taking off. It also looked like none of the guilty organizations were going to acknowledge the story or issue a public statement about it. They were so high and mighty and corrupt that they were going to stay silent to weather the storm of bad publicity. So on December 14th, I ran another tweet to bait the line:

It looks like conservative mag National Review was taking Google cash too. To suppress conservative speech on social media. Was this something that @NRO donors & contributors knew was taking place? Let's ask @JonahNRO @DavidAFrench & others today.

Do I even need to tell you who swallowed the hook and started screaming? On December 18th, Goldberg did another piece attacking me and the Google story. This article was called "Emerald Robinson’s Stupid Lies" and it opened with the usual "kill the messenger" non-denials:

One of the problems with the political moment we’re in is that there are powerful incentives for people to be stupid and dishonest. The ingredients of this imperfect storm include: a populist climate where nearly all institutions are distrusted, appeals to feelings of persecution will be richly rewarded, political principle for many people is measured by blind loyalty to (or hatred for) a particular personality, stirring controversy is valued regardless of whether there is sufficient evidence to support an allegation or clickbaity innuendo, and conspiracy is counted as courage. All of this leads to a kind of socially constructed garbage heap that will either attract flies, vermin, and other scavengers, or turn people into them.

This was the story of Milo before his self-immolation. This is the story of Infowars and Gateway Pundit. And it is the story of the failed-actress-turned-faux journalist Emerald Robinson.

Now, there are only two possibilities here: Either Robinson is an idiot or she thinks her fans are.

The sum total of her “evidence” that NR took Google cash to suppress conservative views comes from a Breitbart story about a Wired story. Here’s the gist: Google gave money to CEI, where Iain Murray works. Iain wrote a piece for us in which he disagreed with a New York Times writer who thinks the government should break up big tech firms, including Google. And . . . that’s it.

You see, dear reader, it's not that the editors of the magazine got caught taking dirty money to hurt their fellow conservatives, it's the crazy people who report this stuff! This opening amounted to almost a blanket denial that the National Review had actually taken any Google money at all. Realizing at some point that this was, in fact, not true, Goldberg slipped into the second to last paragraph the following confession:

I learned that Google gave some money to the National Review Institute for the Buckley Prize dinner only because I asked about it this week (something Robinson could have learned were she an actual reporter of some kind, rather than a MAGA infomercial hostess). But that just proves my point: No one is telling anyone what to write or not write. This is a joke.

So to sum up Jonah's defense: "first, it's absurd to think that any money changed hands, but yes money did change hands, but nobody could possible think that such money influenced what we wrote!" The problem for Jonah Goldberg was that, actually, I did have an insider at his magazine who confirmed that National Review editors declined to publish anti-Google articles. I sent Jonah a note telling him that "the problem for you is that I do have evidence." I added that my source would be happy to come forward and publicly identify himself if Goldberg or anyone else at the National Review wanted to continue denying the story.

Guess how many people from the National Review contacted me to do so? Zero. Zilch. Nada.

So I had basically caught the editors of the National Review in bald-faced lies about taking money from Big Tech companies like Google to remain silent while those same Big Tech companies censored and de-platformed other conservatives. This was, of course, an unconscionable betrayal for The Flagship Conservative Magazine to commit against its own readers — but they did it anyway. Meanwhile, I was hearing from sources close to the National Review Board that the loss of donors and subscribers was so serious that drastic action would need to be taken. (The magazine had lost about half of its subscriber base in less than two years.) The board was also adamant that Jonah Goldberg and David French were the main culprits behind the astonishing collapse of the magazine's influence, and that they needed to go. Everybody wanted them off the masthead in order to survive.

A month later, Hayes and Goldberg announced the launch of their nameless magazine with no investors by sending out tweets on their personal accounts that people could get "more info" by emailing them at HayesGoldberg2019@gmail.com. A few weeks later, they were soliciting strangers to give them $1,500 a year to get a newsletter.

In February 2019, Axios ran a story about "a new conservative media company" (that didn't even have a name!) with the news that Jonah Goldberg would be "leaving the National Review in the coming months" to join forces with the recently fired Stephen Hayes. Axios added that Goldberg and Hayes were "seeking investors." It also contained the curious reminder that he would remain at some offshoot called the National Review Institute. In other words, the National Review was happy to pay Goldberg from its sister organization for the privilege of not publishing him anymore at the National Review!

You just can't quantify that kind of popularity.

Goldberg was very touchy about the idea that he had been removed from the magazine. He wanted people to know that it was his idea to leave the National Review to fax out a newsletter from his basement (with no name and no money) along with Stephen Hayes. The Drag Queen Story Hour enthusiast David French even tweeted: "There's news. There's fake news. Then there's the absolute premium-grade BS I'm reading on MAGA Twitter and elsewhere claiming that Jonah Goldberg was pushed out of National Review. Completely, totally false."

What made this so funny was that David French was himself removed from the magazine a few months later! Where did he go? Well, he went to work for Jonah Goldberg and Stephen Hayes and their little newsletter of course. The three of them were now free to plummet into new depths of unpopularity together. The most intellectually bankrupt and vitriolic of the Never Trumpers had finally been thrown into the dustbin of history.

Did the editors of the National Review learn anything from this debacle? Of course not. The feckless Rich Lowry recently handed the magazine over to the world’s only living Evan McMullin voter Ramesh Ponnuru — who was absolutely nobody’s choice to steer the magazine back to popularity. (If anything, Ramesh Ponnuru represents an even greater slide into snide effeminacy than Lowry, and few thought that was possible.) Defeat seems to be the brand for these boys. In any culture war, Rich Lowry and the gang have always been the first to stand athwart history, crying: "We surrender first!” They’ve been so weak and defeatist during the Trump years that a year's subscription to the magazine could be marketed as an estrogen supplement.

Their role does not seem to be halting the Left. Their role seems to be: pretending to be conservative in order to persuade actual conservatives to lose gracefully to the Left.
