The Overreach of the Male Imperium - by Vox Day - Feminist projection and wishful thinking

I find it tremendously amusing that media feminists genuinely imagine that the West has reached the high-water mark of societal antifeminism.....

....Feminists have absolutely no conception that the liberal progressive society of first-wave feminist dreams is collapsing in a toxic slough of debt, barren cat ladies, university degrees, antidepressants, and mass immigration. They genuinely imagine our cold, clear-eyed observations of ongoing collapse are mere grievances or that old progressive chestnut, fear of change.

But there is no amount of huffing, puffing, posturing, mockery, or dismissal that is going to change anyone’s minds, much less what is going to happen. The pendulum has been swinging one way for over a century. It hasn’t really even truly begun to swing back yet.

The question isn’t whether women are going to lose the vote or not. They almost certainly are. So are men, for that matter. Comprehensive societal failure is not the exclusive fault of one sex or the other, and unfortunately, its consequences are far more equitable than any of the feminist solutions to historical inequities ever were.

The real question is whether our indoor-plumbing is going to survive until the real Imperium begins to take hold.

The Wealth Test—Stored Energy and the Claims Built on Top of It

“The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is the slave of the lender.” — Proverbs 22:7

Wealth is not a number. It is not a currency. It is not a claim on someone else’s promise. Wealth is energy captured in physical form—human effort stored across time, transformed into something that can be traded for something else.

Consider what that means. A herd of cattle is wealth because it took energy to raise—the grass, the water, the labor of the herder—and it stores that energy in the form of living animals. The cattle can be traded for grain, for tools, for land. The energy is still there, waiting to be used. Gold and silver are wealth because they took enormous human effort to pull from the earth, and they hold that effort in a form that does not decay. They can be carried across a border. They can be exchanged for anything someone else has produced. Land is wealth because it captures sunlight and rain and turns them into food. Livestock, grain, silver, gold—these are not symbols of wealth. They are wealth itself.

This is what makes something tradable in the real world. It stores human energy. It does not disappear when you use it. It can be exchanged for other things that also store energy. And it does not depend on anyone’s promise to make it valuable. It is valuable because it took effort to create and because it can sustain life.

Now consider the other kind of tradability—the kind that exists only in the illusory world. A dollar bill is not wealth. It is a claim on wealth. It says: someone, somewhere, will give you something real in exchange for this paper. A stock certificate is not wealth. It is a claim on future production. A Bitcoin is not wealth. It is a claim on the belief that someone else will pay more for it later. The Token Dollar is not wealth. It is a claim on a claim. These things can be traded, yes. But they can only be traded because enough people agree to treat them as if they were real. Their value depends on trust. And trust can vanish overnight.

Real wealth does not depend on trust. A cow does not care whether you believe in it. A field of wheat does not care whether the market is up or down. A bar of gold does not care what the Federal Reserve says. Real wealth is physical. It exists whether or not anyone believes in it. And when the claims fail—when the trust evaporates—real wealth is what is left.

This is why cheap energy has been the anesthesia of abstraction. When energy is abundant and cheap, the claims can multiply without anyone noticing the gap between the paper and the foundation. When it wears off, the claims will still be there—and the foundation will not.

Nature has run this experiment many times. The results do not vary.

Deutsche Bahn and China Rail, by Hua Bin - The Unz Review

A friend visited Germany recently and told a story how a delayed train caused him to miss the flight home.

I was shocked since you could set your watch by the Deutsche Bahn when I was living in Germany back in 1997.

I was doing an internship at Mercedes Benz in Stuttgart in those days. I could time my walk from the apartment to the bus stop, then connect with a train to the office with less than 5 minutes in total waiting time.

The bus and train schedules were synced so perfectly that you could count on a two-minutes’ walk and exactly 2 minutes wait in between. Both buses and trains were on time to a fault.

I had a particular fondness for DB since I traveled around Germany almost every weekend with its 35 Mark Schones-Wochenende Ticket (happy weekend ticket). Unfortunately that service was discontinued in 2019.

In the winter of 1997, I got lost on a hike with several friends in the Black Forest near Baden-Baden.

We were only able to walk out of the cold night after stumbling upon a rail track that led us to a small rural train stop. I can still remember the warm platform light to this day.

I’ve held German rail in high regard ever since.

So you can imagine how incredulous I was about the delay and bad service my friend complained about.

This prompted me to read about what happened to Deutsche Bahn over the last 30 years. In a nutshell, things certainly have changed for the worse.

Deutsche Bahn today defines an on-time train as one arriving less than 6 minutes behind schedule – a long cry from the clock-setting punctuality of the late 90s.

Even by such a low bar, punctuality hovers around 50 to 60%, well below DB’s own target of 70%.

The official explanation is aging infrastructure, heavy construction, and overloaded tracks.

However, as I dig a bit deeper, the decline of the German rail efficiency seems to stem from a deeply flawed privatization in 1994 which led to decades of extreme infrastructure underinvestment.

The 1994 Bahnreform merged the old East and West state railways with a clear mandate: DB was supposed to operate as a profit-seeking private corporation to prepare for an eventual stock market IPO.

To attract investors, DB prioritized extreme cost-cutting over public service.

They aggressively cut staff, outsourced maintenance, and began divesting into global logistics companies (like DB Schenker) rather than focusing on domestic rail.

Under the guise of maximizing efficiency, DB severely downsized its physical network to save money......

They Never Stop Lying - Vox Popoli - (Evolutionists!)

It’s truly remarkable how evolutionists will keep repeating obviously false statements over and over again, even after they have been a) shown that the statement was always false and b) told directly that they are repeating a false statement. A woman named Rebekah with a YouTube channel called Examining Origins has obviously read Probability Zero and challenged evolutionists to address its arguments there. The video already has 598 comments, and not one single one of them even demonstrates a basic grasp of the issues involved, let alone presents a coherent response.

Philalethist_Physikos: I respect your work, Rebekah! A quick word of caution to the audience on Vox Day’s formula in Probability Zero: his math assumes mutations fix strictly one after another in a single-file line. In real biology, sexual reproduction and recombination mean mutations sort across the genome simultaneously in parallel, so the math doesn’t hold up in population genetics. If you want rigorous mathematical challenges to evolutionary timescales, stick to researchers like Douglas Axe (coordinated mutations) or Walter ReMine and Royal Truman Haldane’s Dilemma and selection cost). They address real population genetics without making the single-file error!

No, literally none of my math assumes serial fixation. Not MITTENS, not the separate and unrelated math addressing the misapplication of Kimura’s steady-state identity, and not the separate and additionally unrelated math proving the impossibility of punctuated equilibrium.

I quote from yesterday’s post: The LTEE runs twelve identical populations of bacteria in parallel from the same ancestor. Every single evolutionary mechanism from natural selection, genetic drift, mutation, hitchhiking, epistasis, compensatory mutation, and frequency-dependent selection, to clonal interference operates simultaneously in all 12 populations for 85,000 generations and counting.

Which is how we know Philalethist_Physiko isn’t merely ignorant, but dishonest. He appears to have read my post, which is why he mentions “sexual reproduction and recombination” and therefore knows that recombination isn’t included in the LTEE calculations, but he still claimed that I assumed serial fixation which is not at all the case. And he also assumes that recombination will help speed up the fixation rate, which it won’t.

And to demonstrate how wildly ignorant the scientists themselves are, consider this comment from someone who claims he is a research geneticist......

The U.S. Has Killed More Than 20 Million People in 37 “Victim Nations” Since World War II

[This article by James A. Lucas and Prof Michel Chossudovsky was originally published by Global Research in 2015. You can read it here.]

Introductory Note

Let us put this in a historical perspective: the commemoration of the War to End All Wars acknowledges that 15 million lives were lost in the course of World War I (1914-18).

The loss of life in the Second World War (1939-1945) was on a much large scale, when compared to World War I: 60 million lives both military and civilian were lost during World War II. (Four times those killed during World War I).

The largest WWII casualties were China and the Soviet Union:

  • 26 million in the Soviet Union,

  • China estimates its losses at approximately 20 million deaths.

Ironically, these two countries (allies of the US during WWII) which lost a large share of their population during WWII are now under the Trump’s MAGA administration categorized as “enemies of America,” which are threatening the Western world.

Germany and Austria lost approximately 8 million people during WWII, Japan lost more than 2.5 million people.

The US and Britain respectively lost more than 400,000 lives.

This carefully researched article by James A. Lucas documents the more than 20 million lives lost resulting from US-led wars, military coups and intelligence ops carried out in the wake of WWII, in what is euphemistically called the “post-war era” (1945- ).

The extensive loss of life in Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Ukraine and Libya, Palestine is not included in this study.

Nor are the millions of deaths resulting from extreme poverty.....

All Hell Set To Break Loose by the End of September - Window of Supreme Risk: September 30 to November 3. West Asia is about to burn. - By Pepe Escobar

Trump not only rejected the peace offer but bragged – to roars of global laughter – that the United States has “total control” of the “Strait of Trump”.

Trump’s snub has seriously annoyed both Wang Yi and President Xi. In Asian culture, that translates as the worst form of losing face: the dismissal of a recommendation officially made by the highest level of government.

So expect the Chinese response to be as vicious as a batch of silk drenched in poison. Beijing will support Tehran even more fiercely now, in more ways than one.

Eisenhower and Washington Both Spoke Out Against War - LewRockwell

“God help the Nation when it has a President who doesn’t know as much about the military as I do,”
– President Dwight D. Eisenhower speaking to his White House Staff Secretary, Gen. Andrew Goodpaster.

Finally, in Scott Berg’s lengthy biography of Woodrow Wilson is a statement about World War 1 made by Winston Churchill to a New York newspaper editor: “America should have minded her own business and stayed out of the world war.”

Then Churchill added: “If you hadn’t entered the war the allies would have made peace with Germany in the Spring of 1917. Had we made peace then there would have been no collapse in Russia followed by Communism, no break-down in Italy followed by Fascism, and Germany would not have…enthroned Nazism.”(p583)

I wish we could have more political and military leaders who would mind our own business and not be so eager to go to war.

War is Coming, War is Coming – Defeat of the Swiss Neutrality Initiative “Prepare your Kids to Defend Europe”

The masses MUST wake up from their comfort slumber, so that they are no longer just accepting their government lies – to be precise, their implanted government-lies. Because today no Western government has been elected by the people. They are all implanted by “invisible” foreign powers, those who reign over the Western monetary system, including those in control of the City of London and the related Wall Street banking apparatus.

How Bad Was Inflation -- In Your Lifetime? (If you’re a lot younger than Kerry (and me) — let’s say you were born in 2000 — it now takes three times as many dollars to buy a house.)

We all know that prices are rising. But for those who want to see exactly how things have changed in their lifetimes, Financial Survival Network’s Kerry Lutz just created an app that lets you enter a date and a sector and calculate the damage. Some examples:

For consumer prices generally, it now takes over $11 to buy what $1 bought in the year Kerry was born.

Panic Fever - by William Schryver - (As REALITY descends on those who reside in DELUSIONVILLE! - CL) Even DaBoomers might eventually notice.

As 2026 ebbs away, all of Europe is running a panic fever in the face of the creeping realization that the Americans intend to leave them to their own devices against the Russians — and, worst of all, against each other.

As for fighting the Russians, this is the plain reality: if the handful of intrepidly willing European nations were to start tomorrow, in earnest, to assemble the necessary forces and accoutrements for 21st century high-intensity battle, they could not, in five years, organize, outfit, and deploy an army of even 100,000 combat effectives — a number which would be swallowed up by a war for which their experience, training, tactics, arms, and logistics are woefully ill-prepared.

And even if they could assemble a rag-tag multi-national mob of 100k, they would be unable to position and sustain such an army to do anything.

The Russians can strike any target in Ukraine, much of Poland and Romania, and even well into Germany from Kaliningrad and Belarus.

A European army would not be permitted to mass near Russian forces. They would be torn to pieces in the attempt.

As for European air power, it is a mirage.

The supposedly mighty US Air Force gave its best shot, and launched a few thousand long-range stand-off missiles into Iran — to negligible strategic effect. Iran was not disarmed to any appreciable degree. In fact, they appear to be stronger now than when this war began.

Neither the Europeans nor even the Europeans and Americans combined could do anything meaningful against Russia, and they will lose aircraft in droves if they try.

Furthermore, the US has no meaningful intermediate range strike threat comparable to what Russia and Iran have demonstrated. And they won’t have one for some time to come.

US air defenses have proven embarrassing in terms of quality, and not even remotely sufficient in quantity even if they were effective.

Big league war consumes prodigious quantities of armaments.

And anyone paying attention has learned that — against the expectation of the vast majority of people — the US arsenal of unscalable hand-made boutique weaponry has not only performed poorly in its various roles, but the combination of wars in Ukraine and Iran has reduced US stockpiles to near-crisis levels.

Furthermore, the US Navy got run out of the Red Sea by the Yemeni.

Think about that.....

https://imetatronink.substack.com/p/panic-fever?utm_source=post-email-title&publication_id=1085164&post_id=218004701&utm_campaign=email-post-title&isFreemail=true&r=y7h5a&triedRedirect=true&utm_medium=email

....In any case, it should have long-since been evident to discerning observers that the global readiness of the United States to prosecute big league war anywhere at this time is already compromised, and cannot be reconstituted in even the medium-term. Very arguably not within a decade.

They have blown their wad. The US/NATO/Israel have managed to blow through a half-century of weapons development and production — and it’s all for naught.

The 20th century war-making stuff they have left is simply not suited to the realities of 21st century war. And they don’t have anywhere near enough of anything to fight a serious war anyway.

As I repeat incessantly: There are no easy wars left to fight.

So, yeah, I reckon the Europeans are sweating it out right about now. The empire is receding rapidly, and before long will irreversibly relinquish its capability to enforce rules, borders, and obedience to the “greater good”.

History suggests a Europe in such a scenario will not cohere in a harmonious fashion. It’s bound to turn ugly.

And thus, the panic in Euroland.

Hold Corporate Lawbreakers Accountable NOW - Denninger - on AI criminal felony!

So-called "AI" firms have now been confirmed to have violated the CFAA (Computer Fraud and Abuse Act) tens of thousands of times in the last six months -- including violations involving penetrations of government computers holding sensitive data on Americans.

These computers were programmed by and are operated by firms who have programmers, boards of directors and CEOs.  They are entirely owned by and operate at the direction of, with permission of, and through only the provision of power, connectivity and cooling funded and operated by said firms which in turn are controlled by said individuals.  I will note that exactly zero of these "AIs" will do anything at all without a person entering a "prompt"; a cute word designed to evade responsibility in that its not a "prompt" it is an instruction -- that is, a command.

There is no exception in the CFAA for "large corporate computers that are allegedly artificially intelligent."  Indeed there are no exceptions present in 18 USC §1030 at all.  Until and unless Congress modifies that law and it is signed by a President (or the veto is overridden) each and every such instance is a criminal felony exactly as it would be if I did the very same hacking sitting here in my chair using the computer on my desk -- whether there's an alleged "AI" thing loaded on said computer or not.  Indeed it is entirely-reasonable to consider all these firms, given the number of events Axios reports occurred here, to be continuing criminal enterprises.
