(Tabletmag.com) An article entitled “American Jews Must Stop Obsessing Over the Holocaust” appeared in the Jewish publication — Tablet Magazine — which raised red flags for a rabbi because it revealed that 73% of Jews in America based their entire Jewish identity on their belief in the “Holocaust”.
We have edited the original essay here for brevity — as it is very repetitious — but the thesis is simple — that assimilated Jews in America rely too heavily on the “Holocaust” as the basis of their Jewish Identity — and that they need something more substantial to maintain a legitimate identity, which ideally would be a return to the “covenantal” relationship with their “god”
Judaism is not the faith of the ancient Hebrews — rather it arose after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ sometime around 200 AD — and was based entirely in reaction to — and the rejection of Jesus Christ and Christianity — which is evident in the anti-Christ nature of their “holy” book, the Babylonian Talmud.
Not surprisingly, “rejection of Jesus Christ” was not one of the options given to Jews in the 2013 Pew Research Poll “A Portrait of Jewish Americans” on which Neusner’s comments were based — for if it had been included, we would have seen the true nature of Jewish identity — and what truly motivates them:
“The only reason that Jews are in pornography is that we think that Christ sucks. Catholicism sucks. We don’t believe in authoritarianism. Pornography thus becomes a way of defiling Christian culture and, as it penetrates to the very heart of the American mainstream (and is no doubt consumed by those very same WASPs), its subversive character becomes more charged.”
