Every man needs a cheerleader. Most women don’t understand the concept of what properly supporting a man actually entails. A man doesn’t need a coach, an editor, or a style consultant, and he most definitely doesn’t need a critic. Men need cheerleaders, women who support their team no matter what the score is, no matter how the team is playing, and above all, who wear short skirts.
Women need to remember that morale over time is the most important aspect of performance. And while there are times and places that coaching, editing, style consulting, and even criticism are necessary, none of it can come at the expense of a man’s morale.
Nothing can, or will be accomplished if a man becomes demoralized. Every sports coach knows that no amount of yelling can improve a player who has been broken. That’s why you see even the harshest, most critical disciplinarians suddenly turning into Deepak Chopra when their players are at their worst. That is why the cheerleader role is the woman’s most important role in every male-female relationship.......
