Doctor Cured by the Red Pill - By Ira Katz

In June of 2021 I published an article on LRC titled Ivermectin, Covid-19, and Why It Could Be Miraculous. To quote myself from the article, “I hope you have heard about Ivermectin, not only because of its almost miraculous development, efficacy and safety; but also because it could become the ultimate red pill.

This article was largely based on the excellent work of Dr. Pierre Kory and his conversation with the evolutionary biologist Bret Weinstein.  In summarizing the article I wrote, “I think Ivermectin might provide another miracle. With its incredible pedigree anyone who is confronted with the fact of its existence and the evidence compiled by Dr. Kory with the total black out of news will immediately be red pilled.”  But if you click on the link I provided you will now find that “This video has been removed for violating YouTube’s Community Guidelines.”. Thus, YouTube is actively trying to limit the great curative power of this red pill.

What is now interesting to see is how the red pill of ivermectin has cured Dr. Kory himself of his political naivety. I cannot recommend this new conversation between Kory and Weinstein more highly.  Kory and Weinstein discuss their experiences during the pandemic, insightfully explaining how “the science” is just so much manipulation. But then Kory makes that red pill jump. If this has been the case for ivermectin, what about vaccines, what about other sciences, what about everything? The powers that be destroyed his career in academic medicine for his ivermectin heresy. But he had landed on his feet in a private practice, especially treating long Covid and the vaccine injured. And he had made the correct intellectual and practical jump for his practice to succeed: he does not take insurance money as payment. He now sees why the free market in medicine is necessary to diffuse the incredible centralized power of government controlled medical care.

Kory described his feeling of hope listening to Robert Kennedy Jr. declare his candidacy for president, adding “he gets it.” Weinstein then described our situation as akin to the end of Homer’s Odyssey. That is, as Odysseus was able to bend and string the bow and then kill all of the corrupt suitors of his wife Penelope; we need a hero to  come in at the end of our saga to clean out all of the corruption in our society. They agreed that perhaps Kennedy is that hero. As for myself, I would never expect too much from a hero from above to save us even if I have respect for Kennedy. What will save us is millions more people coming to understand the nature of government like Dr. Kory has himself.

This is a long conversation, almost three hours, but it is well worth the time (put it at 2x speed if you need to) of watching it in full.
