Connecting dots that don't connect - by No1 - (Read this only if you you want a clue as to WTF is going on in this world - and a clue is all it is - but it's the best I've read so far. You might also subscribe for future posts. - CL)

“Trump is executing a 5D chess maneuver of historic proportions - cutting off China’s energy supply, flipping Russia, blowing up BRICS from the inside, and riding stablecoins to dollar supremacy for the next century”.

I admit, it’s intriguing, it’s bold, and it sounds elegant. It has this satisfying narrative arc with numbered steps and everything.

I, however, find it’s almost utterly bollocks.

I’m going to walk you through it. Piece by piece. Not because the underlying geopolitical moves aren’t real but because the interpretation being sold is the geopolitical equivalent of connecting random dots and calling it a masterpiece.

Let me show you why.

Let me let you in on a little secret: the US military is not sized to execute that many overlapping interventions. The US economy is not insulated from the oil price spikes this sequence creates. No matter what the oil ticker says. The US political system is not built for the kind of decade-long patience this plan requires.

And above all - it assumes Trump even has a plan.

A detailed, multi-year, sequenced geopolitical strategy with coherent endgame objectives. The man who announced Canadian tariffs via social media at 11pm, who publicly feuded with Canada’s prime minister while needing Canada as a “diplomatic bridge” in this very theory. The man whose administration has contradicted itself on Venezuela policy multiple times in the same week.

The moves are real. The chaos is real. Connecting them into a master plan is seductive precisely because it offers the one thing the current moment doesn’t: the comfort that someone, somewhere, knows what they’re doing.

They don’t.

Out of Missiles, Out of Men - Vox Popoli - (Yup - this ain't 1980 anymore! - CL)

 https://voxday.net/2026/03/29/out-of-missiles-out-of-men/

This isn’t from dubious Iranian sources. This is from the Jerusalem Post. The Houthis have now entered the war, not, in my opinion, to forestall Saudi Arabia and the UAE from entering the war on the side of the Epstein Alliance, but because the Israeli missile defense system is now exhausted.

The closure of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait in addition to the Strait of Hormuz would ratchet up the pressure on the global economy, and thus force the USA to withdraw from the region, while the inability to restock missile interceptors means that the Houthis are now able to strike Israel with their less-advanced missile systems. Each step reinforces the next.

I was wondering why neither Hezbollah nor the Houthis participated in the early stages of the war, and now the answer is becoming apparent. Both the US and the Israeli defenses needed to be weakened before their attacks could produce much damage. The more time goes on, the more it becomes apparent that the Iranians and their allies are operating at a higher strategic level than either Israel or the USA, which indicates that they have either Chinese or Russian advisors providing them with direction.

Israel has a highly competent military and the USA has the most formidable military on the planet. But 3GW militaries have limited staying power and are at a serious disadvantage in industrial 5GW.

Sad! - Vox Popoli

How does anyone read this wall of text and imagine it is the same individual who was a master of rhetoric prior to 2021?

Many in the CORRUPT, LYING FAKE NEWS MEDIA, who should be sued and JAILED for spreading ideas clearly intended to harm America, have said that this war was unnecessary. WRONG! I DID NOT START THIS WAR! This......

https://voxday.net/2026/03/29/sad/

......We WE HAVE ALREADY WON THE WAR. Iran’s Navy, airforce, missiles, leaders have all been destroyed, all well ahead of schedule. IRAN SURRENDERED AND BEGGED FOR A CEASEFIRE! They asked ME to run the country! I said NO, we want a better deal, regarding their oil! We have to control it to make sure Iran can’t threaten the world again! We are currently in the clean-up phase of the combat operation, and when the last remaining members of Iran’s terrorist regime have been eliminated, Iran will be GREAT AGAIN! MIGA! Thank you for your attention to this matter! -President DJT

I don’t know who that short guy playing the president is, but it is obviously not Donald Trump. And while it’s true that he didn’t start this war, because Israel did, he did tell the US military to get involved in what increasingly appears to be the empire’s Sicilian Expedition.

The Root Of It ALL - Denninger - As War Rages On...(2 Posts)

Seriously folks, I've written about this a lot and its the root of literally every bit of what's wrong economically in America today, and has been for the last nearly 20 years.

It does not matter who you elect, Democrat or Republican.  Neither has changed this and the hand-on-the-stick has changed both in Congress and the White House several times.

This is, with mathematical certainty, the cause of all of the bubble in the markets and it must be halted before it blows up in all of our faces and ruins all -- most importantly and immediately in medical which is driving it on the deficit side.  It cannot be sustained as it is why both interest payments and inflation are in fact going vertical -- the first already has, the second is starting to occur now.  It is not temporary due to the Iranian situation nor will the resolution of it (which will eventually come) reverse it.

Most people with more than 2 cents worth of brains in their head also know that the US lied about Iraq's nuclear program and specifically claimed that they had material they factually did not.  That was an "intelligence****essment" as well (so we're told) and a crap-ton of American men and women had legs blown off and similar screwing around over there.  Yes, we did end up with Hussain being sodomized and killed but the predicate was a lie and while we had a decent number of GIs permanently injured and killed Iraq had a ****-ton of people of all ages slaughtered based up on our lies and not a single person was hanged for the bull**** claimed as justification which we later learned wasn't just incorrect -- it was an intentional lie.

In fact that's the root problem here: Nobody has to put their life behind such "intelligence****essments"; if you claim that a nation is "2 weeks" from building and able to use a nuclear weapon and you're wrong or lying you damn well ought to be stripped naked on the national mall and executed with eXacto knives -- nastily, slowly and painfully on national television.

America Has Already Lost the Iran War, by Greg Johnson - The Unz Review

We had ample warning that a war on Iran might be disastrous for the American empire and the petrodollar in particular:

  • Iran warned us that an Israeli-American attack would trigger retaliation against the Gulf states.
  • Iran also warned the United States that it would close the Strait of Hormuz, shutting off the Gulf’s oil, gas, and other exports.
  • We knew that Iran was committed to asymmetrical warfare strategies to counter America’s vastly larger and more expensive military. We had nearly four years to learn about drone warfare in Ukraine. Just last year, we saw Iran and its allies exhausting Israeli defenses with missile barrages.

Those warnings were ignored.

Iran has now destroyed America’s military bases and radar installations in the Gulf states. The United States has also sent ordinance to intercept missiles and drones from the Gulf states to Israel, because Israel First.

Beyond that, Iran has proved to the Gulf States that it can completely destroy their economies and—by striking their desalinization plants—render them uninhabitable. In short, Iran can send the sheiks back to the camel age—and America won’t protect them.

https://www.unz.com/article/america-has-already-lost-the-iran-war/

So no, America won’t be stronger and more secure because of this war. We lost. We lost on the first day. Because the only way to have won this war was not to start it. Moreover, this outcome was entirely predictable. There were people in the Pentagon, even in the White House, who knew better. So why did the war happen?

The simple answer is that this war was never about benefiting the United States. It never would have happened if we put America First. It was all about benefiting Israel, at the expense of America and the rest of the world.

The Jews know America is a declining power. They know that their power in America is declining as well. Their supporters are disproportionately Baby Boomers, who are entering their 80s and beginning to die off. Thus the Jews were in a rush to squeeze one last war out of America, before they discard the dry husk......

Frankly, Trump seems to have gone mad. Still, he has enough sense to realize the mess he’s in. But he doesn’t see any way out. Israel will continue to escalate the war until someone in Washington has the courage to say “no,” which will probably require removing Netanyahu from power.

Absent that, Trump must simply hope and pray, hence his frantic lies and improvisations.

What’s he counting on? He can’t bankrupt his way out of this problem.

Trump is 79 years old. Like every other spendthrift of his generation, he probably consoles himself with the thought that he’ll be dead before America will face the full consequences of his folly.

In the meantime, he’s posting about imaginary negotiations to manipulate the stock and commodity markets, while his Jewish friends make billions from the volatility.

Basically, he’s joined in the looting.

I’ve given up hoping that we are ruled by people who care about America’s future. But if there is anyone in the White House who at least cares about his own future, Trump needs to be removed from power.

They’d better do it quickly, too. Preferably before Trump turns American ground troops into Iranian drone fodder. Since maintaining a positive self-image is the overriding goal of every narcissist, Trump will start scapegoating the people around him as matters get worse. At a certain point, it will come down to “Trump or us.”

The System Isn’t Breaking—It’s Shifting: How Food, War, and Economic Power Are Quietly Reorganizing Global Access to Survival While the World Is Taught Not to Notice – Preppgroup

This is how modern scarcity begins—not with absence, but with instability.

In highly developed economies, food systems are engineered to avoid visible collapse. Supply chains are diversified, logistics networks are optimized, and retailers are trained to substitute rather than admit shortage. The result is a form of managed scarcity where consumers rarely encounter empty shelves in the traditional sense, but instead experience something more subtle: shrinking options, rising prices, and a creeping sense of unpredictability.

Over time, these small inconsistencies accumulate. Consumers adjust. Expectations lower. And what once would have been considered abnormal becomes routine.

The system does not fail—it degrades.

Conclusion: Listening to What Isn’t Said

Ethan leaves the store with fewer items than he intended to buy. The total cost is higher than expected. The bags feel lighter, but the receipt feels heavier.

Nothing about the experience is dramatic. There are no headlines, no breaking news alerts, no official declarations of crisis.

And yet, something has changed.

The silence of the shelves is not an absence—it is a signal. It reflects a system under pressure, adapting in real time to forces that are often invisible to those who depend on it most.

War reshapes production. Economics reshapes access. Agriculture struggles to keep pace with a changing environment. And consumers, almost without realizing it, reshape their lives in response.

This is not a story about the future.

It is a story about the present—one that is already unfolding, quietly, between the shelves.

Iran War Disaster: Planned Energy Lockdowns and Global Famine? - (And after being locked up.... WeDaPeople all said 'Amen'! - CL - BEYOND SHTUPID!)

The Iran war is clearly a disaster for the United States and the world at large. The only question is how much of a disaster the war actually becomes. The war was not in the strategic interests of the United States and had several obvious caveats, which I highlighted in this article shortly after the war started, “Trump’s War with Iran is Unconstitutional, Stupid, Insane, and not in U.S. National Interests.

Depending on the paradigm you view the war through, it was either the stupidest most incompetent war ever initiated, or a sophisticated takedown of America and much of the world. Regarding Trump, similar to the COVID Plandemic and Operation Warp Speed, we are left with, ‘is he an idiot or evil’?

Neither answer is acceptable.

Even with the fog of war. No matter how you look at it, the Iran war is a total disaster for the American people and the world in general. It will likely lead to economic pain and more psychopathic authoritarianism. This was obvious in 2001. Once they created a rights free zone at airports it was obvious that eventually they would want to make the whole world the airport.

Just remember. The same people trying to sell this war and its after effects are the same people that humiliated you by forcing you to wear a face diaper and follow the little lines on the floor, and poisoned most people you know with a biological and technological weapon of mass destruction in the form of an mRNA injection.

The Whole Thing Is a War Crime - LewRockwell

War is the most horrific series of events upon which any government can engage. It is systematic, industrialized, indiscriminate killing. It kills innocent adults and little girls. It often ruins the post-war lives of the killers. It is young men violently fighting old men’s power games. It is the health of the state. — Judge Andrew P. Napolitano

Terrorism is the war of the poor, and war is the terrorism of the rich. — Peter Ustinov

Since the attack on Iran was inaugurated by a powerful state rather than tattooed street gangs, the criminals responsible will never be punished.  There will be no comparable Nuremberg trials in which holier-than-thou accusers sentenced to death Nazi leaders for crimes against humanity.  In Iran, the “mistake” of killing over 100 civilians, mostly children, after a US Tomahawk missile turned an elementary school to rubble was a result of outdated intelligence we are told, as if that excuses it, and was therefore not intentional and therefore not a crime against humanity.  The US has a policy of not intentionally killing children, we hope.Margin of Victory: Fiv...Macgregor USA (Ret.), ...Check Amazon for Pricing.

Nor will the attack on Iran — it’s not a war, it’s a “Middle East conflict” — ever be seen as a crime, as we know from history.  Going back to WW II again, did any international body ever punish the US for atomic bombing Japan?  Or firebombing Dresden or Tokyo?  Of course not.  Dissent from General Eisenhower and Admiral Leahy about using the Bomb didn’t stop it from happening.  Truman overruled everyone, just as Trump does today.  Dissent from two military leaders — what do they know?  Propaganda about saving military lives won the day.  Victors don’t commit war crimes.

The Next Event - Vox Popoli - (And what an interesting coincidence, eh? - CL)

....the stage is set for an event designed to provide some additional motivation for Americans to support the Israeli war on Iran.

Based on various dark hints in the media, to say nothing of Laura Loomer’s mysterious and inexplicable sensory-based prediction, it would appear to be something happening on the West Coast, presumably in California, involving an iconic building a major city. So, I’d stay away from both U.S. Bank Tower in Los Angeles and the Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco. Especially since it turns out that the building in LA just happens to be owned by the same company that owned the World Trade Center in 2001.

Iran, Trump and Strait of Hormuz – Who Is the “Bad Guy”?

“Let me get one thing straight: Egypt charges $200,000 to $700,000 per transit through the Suez Canal.

Large container ships or tankers can exceed $1 million. Panama charges $100,000-$450,000 per transit.

Large Neopanamax vessels cost up to $500,000 to transit the Panama Canal.

Turkey charges fees for the Bosphorus Strait. Canada charges fees for the St. Lawrence Seaway.

The United States charges fees for the St. Lawrence Seaway. Iran has refused to collect fees for the Strait of Hormuz for decades.

They made it free! Despite the defamation, sanctions, and isolation— and yet you want me to believe that Iran is the “bad guy” here?”

An article in Heterodox STEM comes to the same conclusion that I came to years ago, as did many others: the universities can't be reformed, because the rot goes so deep that so many people would need to be purged that reforming academia would effectively be isomorphic to dismantling it.

I don't even think denazification is the right model. Woke suffuses the campuses to a far greater degree than national socialism ever achieved in German institutions.

This is why I advocate the Henry VIII solution. Don't reform the monasteries. Dissolve them. Liquidate their stored capital, and put it to better use. Some of that use will involve new educational institutions, and some of that capital will be the remaining human capital whose minds remain uninfected by woke, and whose scholarship would be far more brilliant if they did not have to carry around the deadweight.

The author of this piece notes that conservatives are always on the defensive because they are in the position of explaining nuanced trade-offs while leftists focus on equality and justice … with conservatives agreeing that equality and justice are worthwhile pursuits. Indeed. Which is why equality (and conservatism) must go. Ideologically, the only way to expurgate woke while retaining intellectual freedom is to focus quite ruthlessly on truth and excellence. Which, to put it another way, means to enshrine inequality as a sacred principle, and to define justice as disproportionate rewards going to those who disproportionately deserve them.

Do you wonder why Saudi prince MBS is pushing Trump to continue the Iran war against a fellow Muslim nation?! – The Burning Platform

SOTN Editor’s Note: It seems very strange that Saudi Arabia, along with their fellow Sunni nations in the Gulf, are encouraging the crusader Commander-in-Chief Donald Trump to not relent in the brutal U.S. invasion of Iran.  Yes, Iran is the leading Shiite Muslim nation in the Mideast, but one would think that Islamic loyalties would override everything else especially in light of Trump’s zealous and aggressive support of the Greater Israel project.

Well, not only is the royal family of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia a covert cabal of crypto Jews, so are all of the so-called royal houses throughout the Middle East.  As follows: https://www.theburningplatform.com/2026/03/27/do-you-wonder-why-saudi-prince-mbs-is-pushing-trump-to-continue-the-iran-war-against-a-fellow-muslim-nation/#more-401630

The two exposés posted below in their entirety provide essential material regarding the true origin of the House of Saud, as well as vital background about the current monarchy ruling Saudi Arabia.

It is virtually impossible to understand the true nature of the relationship between Saudi Arabia and the USA, and between Saudi Arabia and Israel, without the historical information that follows.

The photo above includes Chaim Weizmann, a zealous Zionist leader who was perhaps the first Israeli politician to actively promote the Greater Israel project.

2002 IRAQI INTEL REPORTED WAHHABIS ARE OF JEWISH ORIGIN

by David Livingstone

The U.S. Department of Defense has released translations of a number of Iraqi intelligence documents dating from Saddam’s rule.  One, a General Military Intelligence Directorate report from September 2002, entitled “The Emergence of Wahhabism and its Historical Roots”, shows the Iraqi government was aware of the nefarious purposes of the Wahhabis of Saudi Arabia, often known as Salafis, in serving Western interests to undermine Islam.

The report relies heavily on the Memoirs of Mr. Hempher, which describe in detail how a British spy to the Middle East, in the middle of the eighteenth century, made contact with Adbul Wahhab, to create a subversive version of Islam, the notorious sect of Wahhabism, which became the founding cult of the Saudi regime.  The movement was temporarily suppressed by the Ottomam armies in the middle of the nineteenth century.  But with the assistance of the British, the Wahhabis and their Saudi sponsors returned to power and founded their own state in 1932.  Since then, the Saudis have collaborated closely with the Americans, to whom they owe their tremendous oil wealth, in funding various Islamic fundamentalist organizations and other American covert operations, particularly the “jihad” in Afghanistan.  But the Saudis simultaneously use the immense wealth at their disposal to disseminate this disruptive brand of Islam to various parts of the world, categorized by some of the largest propaganda campaign in history.

Many who defend Wahhabism as a legitimate reform movement of Islam have tried to dismiss the Memoirs as a spurious fabrication.  These include Bernard Haykel, Professor in Near Eastern Studies at Princeton University, who, without providing any evidence, presumes the Memoirs to have been created by Ayyub Sabri Pasha.

However, while the Memoirs only emerged in the 1970s, Pasha wrote his version of the story already in 1888.  Ayyub Sabri Pasha was a well-known Ottoman writer and Turkish naval admiral, who served the Ottoman army in the Arabian Peninsula, writing several works about the region and its history.  Including The Beginning and Spreading of Wahhabism, where he recounts Abdul Wahhab’s association and plotting with Hempher.
