I have to admit that I don’t pay very much attention to the current state of the dating market anymore, but it is true that the information that led everyone to conclude that the 80/20 attraction that Hoemath and others have pointed out meant that the attraction was being translated into sexual activity is nearly 15 years out of date.
And the new studies, which indicate that it’s not just the men who are being ignored does tend to correspond a lot more harmoniously with the endless laments of average women that there are “no good men” and that they haven’t even been hit on for an extended period of time.
The chads aren’t any busier than they have historically been, and they aren’t any more interested in average women than they have historically been. Basically, the 4s through 6s are rejecting the average guys, but they’re not getting anything out of it, because the Alphas and Bravos are simply ignoring them.
