“The
Big Event: New Revelations in the JFK Assassination and the Forces Behind His
Death” was held on March 9-11 at a hotel and conference center near Dulles
Airport. The conference, named “The Big Event” after the phrase CIA operative
and convicted Watergate planner E. Howard Hunt used to describe the planned
assassination of JFK, was sponsored by the JFK Historical Group and the
Conscious Community. Speakers discussed findings from the 34,963 declassified
documents released on August 25, 2017; some were held back at the request of
U.S. intelligence agencies.
The documents
concern the most geopolitically significant murder mystery in history, adding
more evidence to the belief that a conspiracy was behind the JFK assassination.
Roger Stone, the
political operative and 40 year friend of President Trump, when asked whether
the U.S. has had any authentically independent presidents since JFK, answered
yes – Nixon, Reagan and Trump. While Trump appears to be coopted to a large
extent by the deep state – the military industrial complex and national
security state – he is still regarded as an outsider denigrated by elites and
snobs who won’t be happy until he does everything they want him to do. Stone
said Trump definitely questions the findings of the Warren Commission Report.
Keynote speaker
Stone said “many different swirling motives” were behind the assassination.
Denouncing the “two political parties who have run this country into the
ground,” he said the neocons have been running the US for the past 30 years,
and that same deep state that killed JFK is now after Trump. Noting how JFK
researchers may disagree on some of the many details, the important point is
that they know there was a conspiracy behind the murder and cover up: “We are all
right.” Stone said LBJ said a unique relationship with the CIA, organized
crime, big Texas oil, the district attorney in Dallas county, the sheriff.
“Everyone has their own motive.” He said he called Trump on October 20 to make
a case to release all of the declassified documents as scheduled. Trump, a
skeptic of government, said he had not had a full briefing on the topic.
Stone discussed
the JFK assassination with Nixon, who he said was purposely lured to Dallas.
Nixon called Hoover who told Nixon a communist did it, yet Oswald had not yet
been arrested. After a couple of martinis, Nixon got loquacious and told Stone
he wanted to be president as much as LBJ did but he was not going to kill for
it. Warren Commission member Gerald Ford was instrumental in changing the
physical location of the JFK’s neck wound up to accommodate what Stone calls
the “cockamamie” single bullet theory; Ford signed the autopsy.
The 1992 JFK
Records Act, passed after public pressure in the aftermath of Oliver Stone’s
milestone film JFK, requires any government agency to publish a justification
in the Congressional Record why specific documents should not be released, and
this has not been done, a violation of the law. In July, the National Archives
released a small cache of redacted documents to test reaction. For 30 years the
media has controlled the narrative. Stone, whose Twitter account with his
400,000 followers was deleted, decried the current censorship on the Internet
with shadow banning. Protection is needed for ideas, he said. “This is the
single greatest fight we face.”
Forensic
pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht explained how the 18 physicians at Parkland
Hospital were not allowed to do an autopsy. They all said JFK was hit from the
right side of his temple resulting in an exit wound in the rear area of his
head causing extensive damage. His body was illegally taken out of Dallas to
Andrews Air Force Base and on to Bethesda Naval Hospital. The two assigned
pathologists had never done an autopsy. The magic bullet that supposedly caused
seven wounds killing JFK and hitting Connolly was mysteriously found lying on a
hospital stretcher by a maintenance man. Wecht showed photos of the bullet
which looked in pristine condition. The people involved in the cover up “held
back, lied, and were negligent.” Wecht pointed out JFK had fired CIA Director
Allen Dulles, LBJ named him a member of the Warren Commission, and the
conference was being held “in the shadow of an airport named after him.” He
said the assassination a “coup d’état” and called for a real investigation.
Saint John Hunt
told a heartbreaking story about growing up as the child of E. Howard Hunt, his
father’s confession of his involvement with the JFK assassination, as well as
the key players. He also spoke of how his mother Dorothy was killed in a
suspicious plane crash while she was carrying payoff money to Watergate
operatives. “My entire life was a huge lie.” He started doubting the truth of
everything. There was no real love in his family, the children had governesses
and he didn’t have friends until he was a teenager. “Dad lied so much he could
pass any lie detector test.” His mom worked for the OSS, then CIA, tracking
down Nazi artwork. One night his dad ordered him to wipe down the fingerprints
off the wires and black boxes used for the Watergate burglary and then drove
with him to dump the electronics into the Potomac. He was just thrilled that
his father, who had considered him an utter disappointment, finally needed him.
Author,
scientist and dedicated witness Judyth Vary Baker said Amazon had placed her
book “Me & Lee,” about her romantic relationship with Lee Harvey Oswald
under the cook book section. She says Oswald was a double agent, set up by the
CIA and that he was, as he claimed, “just a patsy.” She explained how the news
of the assassination was immediately controlled. Only one radiotelephone was in
use in the wire car in the motorcade. UPI reporter Merriman Smith reported what
happened, and CBS’ Walter Cronkite repeated Smith’s version. The phone went
dead when AP reporter Jack Bell tried to use it. She said she and Oswald were
working together on a biological weapon to kill Castro and he was planning to
deliver it to Mexico City but the trip was called off; an imposter was used
instead as photos depict to implicate Oswald as a Soviet agent being paid by
the Russians and Cubans to kill JFK. In fact, Baker said Oswald was part of an
effort to abort the planned assassination.
Hubert Clark was
a member of the Navy Honor Guard that carried the bronze casket supposedly
containing the body of JFK out of Air Force 1 at Andrews Air Force Base into
the awaiting limousine. He revealed it was only 51 years later at a reunion of
his Honor Guard mates did they all realize the bronze casket was empty.
Corpsmen who witnessed the autopsy told the Honor Guard JFK’s body had been
placed into a grey shipping container and taken to Bethesda Naval Medical
Center for an illicit autopsy. A big fight broke out as the men tried to sort
out the conflicting memories. At one point Clark could see JFK in the autopsy
room and he had a black chop block under his neck. When colleague Bud Barnam
later saw the official autopsy photos, he said this is not what he saw in
person. He was told the hospital does not use a black block.
Dr. James
Fetzer’s research has led him to question whether Abraham Zapruder actually
filmed the Zapruder film, citing John Costella as the leading expert on the
film. He showed news accounts on November 22ndthat reported the shot to
the right temple. The film was shot using a tripod and then created in a CIA
lab with the intent of having video photographic evidence which would then be
manipulated to support the conclusion that JFK was shot from behind by Oswald.
Zapruder is seen on TV giving false testimony that JFK was shot from behind and
his head was forced forward, the opposite of what happened. The public was not
allowed to view the film until 1975. In the passing years the film had been
edited to make it look as Zapruder described. The location of the freeway sign
changed, and the people standing while the presidential motorcade goes by are
standing motionless when they should be jumping and shouting like the previous
parade attendees, indicating the passage of the presidential limo occurs at a
different time. All of the doctors at Parkland Hospital stated he was hit in
the right front temple and that the exit wound blew his brains out the back of
his head.
Former Marine
and history professor Casey Quinlan spoke about the fabrication of JFK’s
autopsy and the institutionalization of its cover-up. He said the assassination
was ordered by the NSA and designed by the Pentagon and CIA in reaction to
JFK’s foreign and military policy. At the time, the killing of a president was
not covered by federal law so JFK’s body was taken out of Dallas illegally. The
swearing in of LBJ on Air Force 1 was not necessary because the 25th amendment provides
for the peaceful transfer of power. However, it was an effective diversion
because as it was occurring, JFK’s body was removed from the ceremonial bronze
casket and placed into a grey pink shipping container. Dallas medical examiner
Dr. Earl Rose was prevented from conducting an autopsy on JFK by Secret Service
who drew their guns and forced the casket with JFK out of the hospital. The
shipping container with JFK’s body had been offloaded on the starboard side of
the plane onto a Marine helicopter. The helicopter arrived at Bethesda Medical
Center met by a black hearse about 35 minutes before the bronze coffin arrived.
Illicit post-mortem surgery was conducted to conceal the shots from the front.
All evidence of frontal shots was removed, a modified craniotomy was performed,
the spinal cord was severed and the carotids removed. The brain photos in the
National Archives are fake.
Organizer Lorien
Fenton reached out to hundreds of media outlets, but aside from this reporter
and two other independent journalists, it is not evident that any other press
showed up, continuing the corporate media blackout on the subject.
Author Phil
Nelson said the JFK and MLK assassinations were related. He cited the
Washington Post article that the FBI had sabotaged King’s march with violence.
The FBI was plotting as early as 1963 to neutralize King. The key players –
Hoover, Buford Ellington, Frank Holloman, Henry Loeb, LBJ, and the key planner
Clyde Tolson – wanted to avoid a trial and devised the idea to blame it on a
lone nut – James Earl Ray. Suspected CIA asset Gerald Posner framed the meme
“southern racist and hater, stalker, murderer of MLK, Jr.” but Ray was none of
those. Nelson cited William Pepper’s book which is half filled with
depositions. Tolson and Russell Adkins planned the assassination on a cruise
ship. In 1965, any collaboration between MLK and LBJ ended when the Civil
Rights Leader began to oppose the Vietnam War. Petty criminal James Earl Ray
was set up as a fall guy and the CIA provided a handler, Raoul, for him. In
2012 the rooming house Ray supposedly shot from was rebuilt to make the
shooting seem more plausible. At the behest of the King family, friend and
lawyer William Pepper won a civil trial in 1999 which concluded MLK was killed
as a result of a conspiracy.
Author Ed Tatro
discussed the involvement of the Texas mafia in the assassination. He said LBJ
aide Bill Moyers who selected the motorcade route and got the bubbletop removed
from the presidential limo couldn’t recall much when he testified before the
House Select Committee on Assassinations. At least 10 witnesses testified there
was a bullet hole in the windshield, yet the windshield in the National
Archives is cracked. “LBJ died a broken, lonely, poor man. Justice. It might be
the only justice we ever get.”
Richard
Bartholomew of the Center for Deep Political Research argued that 54 years of
revelations – all the books, the conferences, the videos, the articles – have
failed to make a difference. He called for a new paradigm: the creation of a
think tank financed by a permanent endowment. He equated the current situation
to a Gordian knot and said official acceptance must be forced. The legal system
can do this with mock trials. Bill Moyer needs to be subpoenaed about his route
in changing the route in Dallas. Also, exhume the president’s remains.
Trine Day
Publisher Kris Millegan talked about his father Lloyd’s work in military
intelligence and presented details about the structures of global control over
the world’s population. In the ‘60s his father told him “They are trying to
opiate your whole generation; you’re still making money for them. Communism is
all a sham; the secret societies are behind it.” Millegan explained the how the
matrix of mining, metals and money; drugs, guns and oil; and media,
movies/music and magic operate to control the world. “Not that many people
read,” he said,” so when it comes to making movies they pull out all the stops in
terms of propaganda.”
Researcher Larry
Rivera spoke about a newly released document of New Orleans bar owner Orest
Pena testimony before the House Select Committee on Assassinations that Oswald
was a US government agent or informant. Pena said he was an informant who
reported to FBI agent Warren De Brueys, the same handler, Pena believed as
Oswald’s.
Professor David
Denton spoke about a declassified document that was redacted but the words
could be seen anyway proving the existence of a CIA interrogation center in
Madrid akin to Guantanamo Bay.
Researcher Brian
Edwards talked about a declassified document showing James Estes telling the
FBI he saw Oswald and Connolly at Ruby’s nightclub. Estes worked for Ruby and
met with him prior to the assassination. Money exchanged hands between Oswald
and Ruby.
Gordon Ferrie,
once attached to JFK’s U.S. Secret Service protective details, spoke about “The
JFK Coup Within the Shadow Government Framework.”
The D.C. Metro
premiere of “The Searchers” introduced by Academy Award winning documentarian
Randolph Benson closed the conference. The film features 31 prominent JFK
assassination researchers/truth seekers including Oliver Stone, Mark Lane, Jim
Garrison, Jim Marrs, Fletcher Prouty, Jim DiEugenio, John Judge, Mae Russell, Debra
Conway, and Sylvia Meagher. Benson traveled to interview many at their homes.
Lane displays his 16 volumes of the Warren Commission Report sitting on a shelf
next to the Grimm’s Fairy Tales. “The role of the media is bizarre and
frightening.”
The film “New Orleans and the Clay Shaw Trial” opened the
conference. Mark Lane, author of the seminal book “Rush to Judgment,” described
Jim Garrison as “The only public official who gave a damn about how JFK died
and was willing to risk everything.” The trial ended up ruining Garrison
financially. “It’s almost impossible because of the resources of intelligence
agencies for a district attorney to win a case,” Garrison said. “He reminded
people of Perry Mason,” former New Orleans Mayor Moon Landrieu said of Garrison.
Shaw died in 1974 and was buried within six hours supposedly of a natural
death. The film states JFK was killed because he refused to send combat troops
to Vietnam.
