As always, remember, there is no actual information content in rhetoric. The servants of Satan are desperate to induce fear in you because, for the last year, you have staunchly resisted their fear spells and refused to submit to their will. So now they are trying to ratchet up the pressure. Their proclaimed intentions do not matter at all, because God mocks the wicked and thwarts their plans.
Even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.”
