The time has come for choosing!

NO APOLOGIES, PLEASE • by Gary DeMar • The American Vision

We've come to the point in our nation's history where the battle lines have been drawn. As always, it comes down to two operating propositions: God's Law or Chaos. The time is long past time for Christians to understand how to approach the worldview war and put on the full armor of God for the battle.

Joshua 24:15 - But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."

(As I have contended for many years – the apostasy or falling away BEGAN in the church and became churchian humanism………. – CL)

In a biblical defense of the Christian faith, God is not the one on trial. How can a finite, fallible, and fallen being ever be a competent judge of eternal things? How is it possible that the creature can legitimately question the Creator?

Augustine, ....... would point out that if you are your own boss, you are ipso facto your own slave.  And it is not right to be ruled by what is equal to oneself.  One should be ruled only by what is in every respect superior to oneself, and that is Truth, which Augustine identifies with God.  The unchanging divine truth about what we ought to do is what Augustine calls the eternal law.  The morally grown-up human being recognizes this law for what it is:  an immutable standard of divine authority, one that binds us unconditionally, quite independently of what we may happen to desire or believe.

 Learning truth is not easy!

Ingrained Presuppositions and Binary Thinking + Ignorance = Human Condition Lacking Knowledge, Understanding - and even of God!

What is wrong with every man doing what he thought was right? After all, as an American public school graduate, I was totally immersed in my individual rights and privileges. Furthermore, my faith in the American tradition of our collective wisdom as a democratic republic was absolute. In a sense, I worshipped the wisdom of WeDaPeople! Therefore, the conflict of faiths arose – in essence, I also worshipped DaConstitution and DaState! – CL

I leave it to you to sort it out!
